I looked for the beef tonight, but the bar code didn't match the one given here so I didn't risk it. Everything else on the label looked exactly the same..do any other bar codes work?

I think it has to be that bar code to work. All the ones I've had that have been Irish or British, Silverside or Topside/Top Rump and over 1 kilo have had that bar code. Also it shopuld be £8.48 per kilo.

The original one I had that didn't work was too small, and had a different bar code.

Ok, 'fess up, who was behind me in Welly tonight buying 20 Pot Noodles :rotfl:. Thanks for leaving me some WB Chardonnay :kisses3:

Killed a voucher off & did 2 DTD shops, then went to next Tescos. So traumatised by having killed one that I used the 2 I had and then gave birth to a bouncing £16er courtesy of a scary toothbrush.

Not me! I don't eat them! Plus have only been to the Kettering one today..... ;)

Phew! Thought I would try a new location today, went for a pre-shop womble, but it's in a posh area and the car park was spotless. Managed to find just one receipt, ground into the tarmac, and it turned out to the the l-o-n-g-e-s-t receipt I've ever seen ... must be about 2', and it's for over £200 !!! It will be interesting to see if it brings up any new deals - will let you know. Other than that, had a very pleasant and uneventful shop, trout free with no problems at all redeeming two vouchers.
Huge thanks again to all of you for the absolutely amazing work on the wonderful spreadsheet. Wonder how long this deal will be going on for? I think one of the things which makes it so addictive is the unpredictable nature of Mr. T - will he, or won't he, compare this with that? Don't think it would be nearly so intriguing if it was all cut and dried, as it were ....
  • Does anyone frequent any of the peterboro tescos? If so is there any lamb racks please?

Not sure if it is on your route but Hermiston is a fairly big store and just by the motorway. Also you go through Corstorphine on way to Murrayfield so that could be a good one, think the store is called Drumbrae. Hope that is some use, if not, fingers crossed someone who knows area better will come along.

    looks promising, thanks so much:A
