• I've had no trouble using my greyscale fast draft vouchers.
Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. Fool me three times and I'll smash your face in. :D

Not a bad day at the office:

No e-mail, but re-entering the details brought up my voucher straight away

I went over to Tesco Brixton, whilst you get no hassle using vouchers there (same at Thornton Heath), unfortunately they were lacking in some of the big ticket DTD items such as the lamb, eye cream and kids electric toothbrushes, so it was a bit of scramble to make sure I came out up on my £17.40 voucher. Thankfully the spreadsheet works well on Android 3.2 (Samsung Galaxy S).

Surcare Fabric Conditioner which I entered as a new unconfirmed item yesterday worked, so £1.70 Mr T v £1.20 Mr A = £1.00 DTD has now been updated as confirmed on the spreadsheet.

I have also added as unconfirmed Oral B Floss Action Brush Heads (4 Pack) - £18.38 Mr T v £10.00 Mr A, but as the wording on the respective websites varies i.e. 'Brush Heads' v 'Brush Refills' I added a warning in the notes.

I think tomorrow I'll take a day off, but so far, so good!

Time for me to escalate my complaint to TESCO’s CEO!
philip.clark@uk.tesco.com

So far I have managed to deal with price check problems for my household my mothers household and my grandmothers household by calling their free CS number and getting giftcards (5 plus one more(£4.52) lost in mail for 21/03/11 and no replacement from when I told them on 7/04/11) to cover the shortfall in DTD vouchers.

NO returned call form 13/04/11 about 3 treasure eggs at ASDA being listed as £2 each instead of £1.
NO call back form 15/04/11 about CADBURY DAIRY MILK CARAMEL EGG+ SML EGGS 177G coming up as N/A (I told them for the first time 17/03/11 that they are 178g plus a few times since) + treasure eggs.
Called 19/04/11 about both matters and not getting 2 call backs and as they said they would call me back so this time I got a name and ref before giving out me details.

when I got called back I was told that they would not send me out a giftcard this time to correct the problem (and honour their pledge to DTD) and that I should return the items if I was not happy. I Told them that I was not happy with this outcome and told them that the N/A item had been wrong for a month and expected them to send me a giftcard just like every other time this item came up as N/A. I gave them the name of someone in CS that had sent me a giftcard and assured me on 11/04/11 that the eggs would be corrected to 178g. Despite talking to CS then a supervisor then the supervisor’s supervisor (they would not give me a contact higher up and said that person was on holiday anyway) I was still just told if I was not happy to take the items back.
And while I’m at it I’ll tell them that I was not happy that 40 days into the promotion that I was unable to use a DTD voucher as the none of the staff knew how to put a voucher through the self scan (only till open at 23:52) due to £9.99 limit.

• Since yesterday I cant get the price checker to except my receipt. It says
"Sorry, we’ve encountered a problem on the website."

Anybody got any idea whats going on ? Is it some sneaky Tesco tampering to hold me up on my shopping:cool: ? I wouldnt put it past um....All my receipts the last 2 weeks have become barely readable as they have used so little ink when printing them, Im sure this is to balls up the receipt input too:mad:.

I really dont think I can sleep if I cant put my details in tonight as that will mean no shopping tomorrow:eek:. Any ideas?:D

they have used so little ink when printing them??
Don't you print them on your printer therefore its your ink so maybe you need to change your ink cartridge?

I think you have read the post wrong.

jonesy1977 is talking about the receipt from Tesco Not the voucher you print off.

Is it worth all that hassle?
You've still get lots of things for free so why are you bringing so much attention to yourself. Tesco will be able to link your vouchers and so keep an eye on what you are spending. I think most people have taken a loss when something doesn't give out DTD we all have to just get over it and move on to our next shop, its no big deal when it was free anyway :)

Like the man said, If you are not happy just take your goods back and shop elsewhere.
