Wonder if any Edinburgh DTDers can help, have got free tickets to the rugby at Murrayfield on Fri nite and will be coming from Perth way, and back out that way (if that makes sense:rotfl:) where would be the best Tesco to go to, preferably a large one for elecrics but also rack of lamb mmmmm:) Not really road savvy, as bus it through for the 6 nations (and had a fair amount of voddie by then!), but will be driving on Fri. TIA:)

Corstorphine is the biggest and in your direction - look at the store finder for details, Hermiston gate is ok but not nearly as big. Corstorphine easy to get to and 24 hour.

Am exhausted after a stressful shop... did my rounds (3 different shops) and had to rethink my list in each shop as they were out of the things I wanted (wolfblass, salmon, pizzas etc). Also, had my ds in tow for her first attempt at dtd.... so not only did i have to rejig and recalculate all my shops I also had to tell her what to buy and keep a new running total for both baskets in my head in all 3 shops!

At the last shop there were no manned tills open so had to go through SS . Coupons of course flagged up... taken to CS to run them through there only to find that he recalled the transaction through a card only till... argh! am having a beer now to help relax!
Kept telling my ds that it's not usually this complicated!

Ok, so who's been to the Basingstoke Chineham Tescos and emptied all the Wolf Blass Chardonnay today??

Went along with my best mate, list in hand, vouchers in hand - both of us requiring a bottle of Wolf Blass (for me really, but he's a good best mate like that), and then ............ none!

Had to do my best maths and calculations to try and figure out what I was going to replace it with, and the only thing I could think of was the Wilkinson Sword Bikini trimmer.

So my poor best mate (a male in his 40's) goes to the till, glaring at me all the time whilst handing over a bikini trimmer :D

Bring back some decent vino deals!

I think you will find it only has that barcode if it is over 1 kilo. It can be Irish, as well as British, and Silverside or Topside/Top rump.

I looked for the beef tonight, but the bar code didn't match the one given here so I didn't risk it. Everything else on the label looked exactly the same..do any other bar codes work?
