Another silly question - can i scan a finish coupon at self service till myself? I got inside the 56pack but i think it sys for finish quatrum??? TIA and apologies for all the questions? You guys are great !
Yes you can but you may wish to catch the SA's eye first to make sure they've seen you - they're quite small and don't always hit the sensor in the box you have to put them in after you've scanned them so if the SA knows you're not taking the mick you'll be fine.

I was hit by the pork today - finally managed to get some but didn't realise it had gone down in price. Still got a £10 voucher and a roast dinner though so can't complain!

Incidentally, they've just been talking about DTD on Radio 2 with some bloke saying "people have been having a lot of fun with it". He ain't wrong!

Hi all, how are you doing?

Just to let you know, the Smirnoff red label 1L is showing as tesco price £17 on the spreadsheet but is labelled and went through the till as 20.49, Asda price is £13 so DTD of 14.98.
I have however just realised I should of put it through as a seperate transaction as it will take me over the voucher limit!! !!!!!!, not much I can do now is there.

The SEL said £17 in my local yesterday, didn't even bother using the price scanner in the aisle... maybe I should have! :rotfl:

This is showing as £15.00 in Asda (assuming I am looking at the right one) and £24.99 in Tesco on my supermarketco.uk. Still a DTD of £19.98 though...

But even if it was £10 at A your voucher would be capped at £20. Still a good DTD. :T

Thanks to kebabthief for CONFIRMING this deal.

I've looked on Tesco website and asda website and believe these are the items for comparison.

I have a confession to make

I haven't shopped at tesco today. Couldn't face it. I'm not sure how long I can keep going with this promotion. When is enough enough? Will I get back into it tomorrow? Has anyone else felt like that?:D

I submitted this one to the SS this morning, but it hasn't been updated. It's still 'crossed out'?

    The barcode starts with 0255967

Tesco was £ 8.26 and Asda was £ 6.19 on the price check receipt.

Just had a look in our DTD cupboard (yes we have a dedicated cupboard!) and had a count up and after I buy a few more items tomorrow I’ll be able to sing this song:

    The 12 Days of DTD

“On the twelfth day of DTD, Tesco gave to me:

    12 Lynx Shower Gels
    11 tins of Salmon
    10 Betty Crockers
    9 White Magnums *
    8 Bottles of Wine
    7 Aquafresh
    6 Dolmios
    5 Racks of Lamb *
    4 joints of beef *
    3 Powerball tabs
    2 Shaving foams
    And a D.T.D voucher”

    * Note the Magnums, beef and lamb are not being stored in the cupboard but in the fridge / freezer and or have already been consumed :D:D
