Each item separately - check the live SS before you do though, as if it's already has today's date we don't need it sent through again
Thank you - I know what I'm supposed to be doing now! Just got to try a bit harder.ELITE 5:2

I replied to your post earlier, did you try HidemyA***
I wouldn't bother, just get your own back by using your voucher to get four tins of salmon for 16, voucher return of about 20.
A good tip, is to carry those mini notebooks in your back pocket. As you approach the SA take it out discreetly and make some notes innocently. Ask her some scripted questions eg,"Good morning" "How are you", gauge her response. Pack your shopping.Hand her voucher.
At the end say well done , if she is horrible say poor performance or could be better, make a note in your notebook. The SA will be wondering what is going on.
I did pretty much the same thing in one of the Hilton hotels where the service was pants! The following meal was perfect and I had a line up of the managers as I left all asking if they could do anything else for me ! Same performance at breakfast and checkout. DH couldn't stop laughing.ELITE 5:2

Newbie
Have done my first shop (last night) and recieved my first voucher this morning and will be using it tonight
Haven't read through all 5 threads but a good tip would be to have your list made up ready with substitute items (i'm sure this has already been said) but also for Android users to download a calculator widget and put one calculator for cost of shop on one homescreen and one calculator for DTD on the next homescreen (this works on my HTC Desire) that way if you're forced into substituting items you won't need to do the math in your head0 -

I have read some of this thread to see what all the fuss is about and I can see that there are some bargains to be had.
However, this appears to be an addiction to some people on here, from an outsiders perspective it is almost obsessive behavior. People unable to go to Tesco's for a day feel like they have missed out, people visiting 3 times a day.
This is not a dig, just a genuine question, do the hardcore dtd's work? I know working full time the chance of a daily visit to a super market would be highly unfeasible.
Secondly, the referring to check out assistants who are merely following their line managers orders as 'Trouts' is unnecessarily offensive. These people are working for a living and should not be subject to this terminology. If you were not trying to abuse the system then maybe this 'heat' would not be apparent when using the system.
Yes, the occasionally bargain from Mr T is a great feeling, but to institutionalise this and incorporate it into your daily routine, is very border line, 'odd' in my humble opinion.
Needless to say I will be shot down from a great height for this, however please take a step back, look in and see if you are all displaying rational, non obsessive behavior before posting.
Thats all
Thanks for your imput
I call a spade a spade.
I have been served by a few trouts in Tescos. There is one place near me it's a Metro and they are horrible and hate processing the transaction. The trouts who we are referring to are not doing there jobs, there job is to process a voucher with the conditions set out by head office. If we go through a till and someone processes our voucher like Tesco head office tell them to then we are happy.
Most people who process my vouchers are lovely but the staff who don't want too process my vouchers and keep MY receipts and are not very nice are TROUTS
I hate it when these trouts think they can make up the rules as it goes along
rant over
Love to all my fellow dtders
