Guys, it is great that everybody is uploading shopping lists etc. This will help others no end.
However if you really want to help each other, please upload, using the form

This is the only way we [STRIKE]will[/STRIKE] can keep the spreadsheet upto date, with the resources we have. At the moment all, except for about 10, are updated.
Just think of it. Would YOU rather look through all the posts or the spreadsheet. If the answer is the spreadsheet, then the chances are your friends on here would too.
Not moaning. Just trying to help.
Hopefully these are the 10 items I submitted this morning, thought the form wasn't working for a second there!0 -
What's happened with the spreadsheet? I'm suddenly seeing columns I shouldn't! They say "Hide me"Even if you are a minority of one, the truth is the truth.0

Anyone? I'm sure it was a regular poster.
1st lamb recipe I've come across in a search of the threads is this one - any good?

I have read some of this thread to see what all the fuss is about and I can see that there are some bargains to be had.
However, this appears to be an addiction to some people on here, from an outsiders perspective it is almost obsessive behavior. People unable to go to Tesco's for a day feel like they have missed out, people visiting 3 times a day.
This is not a dig, just a genuine question, do the hardcore dtd's work? I know working full time the chance of a daily visit to a super market would be highly unfeasible.
Secondly, the referring to check out assistants who are merely following their line managers orders as 'Trouts' is unnecessarily offensive. These people are working for a living and should not be subject to this terminology. If you were not trying to abuse the system then maybe this 'heat' would not be apparent when using the system.
Yes, the occasionally bargain from Mr T is a great feeling, but to institutionalise this and incorporate it into your daily routine, is very border line, 'odd' in my humble opinion.
Needless to say I will be shot down from a great height for this, however please take a step back, look in and see if you are all displaying rational, non obsessive behavior before posting.
Thats all
OK then - how about the rather OTT woman on the checkout today who was quite pleasant up until the point I fished out a DTD voucher ? At that stage she rolled her eyes towards the ceiling saying loudly for all in the queue to here " not another one of these blooming things" in a confrontational manner. I asked her (politely!) what the problem was - she retorted that she was fed up with the scheme and she didn't see why Tesco should be losing out. I told her that Tesco were losing out because they had made a silly claim that they were cheaper when every man and his dog knew now (if they didn't before!) that Tesco WERE NOT cheaper.
She continued to mutter to herself, put the voucher through after taking ages to tear all the outside edges off cos she moaned it was too big for her till - and then folded my recept up inside it ! I said I wanted my receipt back (I was feeling just a shade miffed by the), she argued the toss but finally called a supervisor when it became clear I wasn't budging and was told it was fine for me to have the receipt (at least the Supervisor knew what was what).
Sensing possible further trouble, I took my new receipt out of the machine - the b***** woman only grabbed it out of my hand !!! Cue a struggle to grab it back - with me worried the receupt would tear. I got it in the end and bid her a cheery 'see you soon' goodbye.
The particularly satisfying bit is that not only did I win the battle - I was actually MYSTERY SHOPPING the perishing store at the time:D:D:D! There is absolutelyno excuse for the way Tesco have failed to deal with this promotion properly and I am not going to take rudeness from any checkout person who feels she has the right to try to belittle me.ELITE 5:2

I can confirm they scan at 90p I did it last night........found it by complete accident. Thought it was an error, went to CS and they checked the SEL and it was the correct price. I said there is no chance they are that price. She said maybe because they are fat free :rotfl:
Guess the first thing I did when I got home :rotfl::rotfl:
That's right, checked Tesco and Asda sites and then posted the potential DTD here!
Flumps were marked as 9p on the SEL on my local. Scanned one, came up as 9p. So disappointing! Was tempted to get the DTD on 11 of them (9 x 11 = 99p, offer is 11 for £1) just to feel a bit better, but didn't.10 Ways to Spend All Your Student Loan In A Week0 -

Sorry if already asked - but if i use a £9 and £2 voucher at self checkout they should both work - but if i buy more than their value can i add cash as well - or can i only spend the amount on the voucher ?
Also can i ring alcohol through at self service till?
Am trying to make these vouchers stretch to the max value - so don't know whats best to buy? Am not very good at this? TIA0
