Needless to say I will be shot down from a great height for this, however please take a step back, look in and see if you are all displaying rational, non obsessive behavior before posting.
Thats all
Hope, nobody will shoot you down :rotfl:
Many people here do T shopping once or twice per week as I do. Of course, few members here are hardcore shoppers but definitely not everyone.:think:0 -
Please....

I have read some of this thread to see what all the fuss is about and I can see that there are some bargains to be had.
However, this appears to be an addiction to some people on here, from an outsiders perspective it is almost obsessive behavior. People unable to go to Tesco's for a day feel like they have missed out, people visiting 3 times a day.
This is not a dig, just a genuine question, do the hardcore dtd's work? I know working full time the chance of a daily visit to a super market would be highly unfeasible.
Secondly, the referring to check out assistants who are merely following their line managers orders as 'Trouts' is unnecessarily offensive. These people are working for a living and should not be subject to this terminology. If you were not trying to abuse the system then maybe this 'heat' would not be apparent when using the system.
Yes, the occasionally bargain from Mr T is a great feeling, but to institutionalise this and incorporate it into your daily routine, is very border line, 'odd' in my humble opinion.

Well you'd expect me to be defensive wouldn't you
There are many things in life that you can call obsessive behaviour. Following your football team, Clothes shopping, Bargain hunting - all cost money.
This particular 'obsession' can cost very little, and if it brings a little happiness to somebodies life, and some goodies for their family, who are you to tell them not to do it?
Not everybody works in the manner you suggest. Some are Housewives, Self Employed, Disabled. Just because you choose to have a '9-5pm' job, that stops you from benefiting from this promotion, doesn't mean others can't.
I've heard of some really nice things on here. Donations of food to homeless people. Dog food to dog shelters, and people who are nearly on skid row, enjoying Beef, Lamb, Wine and other luxuries, such as chocolate.
Now run along and go and do your job, and let others get on with what they are enjoying. Sorry if it sounds blunt, but there has been so much good come from this thread.Ask me no questions, and I'll tell you no lies0 -

You must be an attention seeker, so I'll feed your addiction.
I plead guilty to taking delight in pitting my wits against a giant like Tesco. I plead guilty to receiving luxury items and booze :rotfl: for nothing. I plead guilty to enjoying reading others success in doing likewise.

Humble apologies, I'm sure this has probably been answered already & I've tried to wade through the threads, but am still not sure.
Totally new to this, I did my first shop yesterday. Tried to do my homework, found the spreadsheet, made a list but still managed to get in a right muddle & am not sure if I will qualify, but that's another story.:D
Can someone clarify for me though, is the £100 limit per calendar month or a month from when you are issued with your first voucher?
Thanks.0 -
Hi
what time did you put your vouchers in yesterday to get them back now please0 -

Thank God I got my Flumps last night
Shame I didn't go twice
Got there and couldn't see the flumps with the individual sweets but checked the sweetie ailse just in case and there were two massive boxes and it said 90p! Took it to a scanner and it told me to "contact a member of staff"! I tried another item though and it said the same thing so I just decided to go for it. Felt a bit paranoid going through the till, last time I was at this Tesco they stopped me using the meal deal glitch even though it was going through the till they decided to try and override it! Anyway all was fine but I must hurry and put the receipt in0
