Not sure what I have written that prompted this response. As I have already stated I appreciate any advice and was just asking questions I have no point stated that I know better. I don't, that is why I am asking. I just want to cover all bases and check all sources.
You asked a question and every single reply said ignore.
In stead of saying 'Thanks everyone, I've read the stickies and will pursue your recommended course of [in]action' you then started talking about 'but they've broken a contract' etc. This merely serves to confuse/cloud the issue.
It's like people who say 'I know everyone says ignore and don't appeal and I've read all the advice saying ignore and don't appeal but do you think I should appeal anyway'.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why then you're as thick and stupid as the moderators on here - MSE ForumTeam0 -

Actually that wasn't what I said. I said I had broken the contract. So would that lead to...etc...etc...
From what I read from the stickies I obviously interpreted it incorrectly or read into things that aren't there. Then my imagination worked overtime and imagined allsorts of scenarios that could happen.Oopsadaisy wrote: »It's like people who say 'I know everyone says ignore and don't appeal and I've read all the advice saying ignore and don't appeal but do you think I should appeal anyway'.
I think this happens because people want more and more reassurance. Not saying it is right but it is understandable.
Again thank everyone for their help and again I appreciate it.0 -

And your point is? It's exactly as we advised it would be, the letters are well known and we gave you a link to look at them. There's no need to type out what we already have in our link.
You are wasting your life on this, just file the rubbish till they give up. Hope you get it now that this is a scam and you just need to ignore them, like a phishing email series?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

sorry, page submitted before I finished typing. I'm ignoring it. I would add to the upload thread but I can't scan them in.
The letter I have does look different to the ones listed.
Just wanted to inform the 2nd letter wording, seeing I have 6 to go!0 -
I have recieved my first letter from Debt Recovery Plus, it is different from the ones posted on the sticky thread.
It has sent me into a real panic, especially as the price has gone up to £148.99.
How many more can I expect?0 -

Panic not! Look closer at the letter for the use of vague rubbish like 'we will now refer it to the next desk along which may result in all sorts of old rubbish' type threats...
In what way is it 'different' than all the versions of DRP letters on that top thread? Don't just look at the PPC letter-chain of 'your' company, look at all the others who also use DRP, there are various DRP letters (all utter codswallop).
If it is very different than every other DRP letter we have shown on that top thread, listed under every PPC, then you may want to show us the letter (digital photo picture with all ID blanked off, no date, no ref numbers).
But I would be amazed if it doesn't match a known letter on that thread, if so then the only conclusion would be that they have re-jigged the wording as not enough people are falling for the standard guff. If so then that's a good thing as it shows forums like this are working.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

That letter says nothing at all, it's so tame it's not even threatening!
If anything it's a dumbed-down version of their usual efforts. Looks a bit like this one only with the misleading stuff about Bailiffs etc removed.
I wonder if there has been one complaint too many to the OfT? Are DRP running scared of following Roxburghe into the 'under threat of having their licence revoked' category? Or indeed have they been warned?
It's such a pathetic letter you could hardly call it a threatogram! :TPRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
