Can you not look at it from his point of view? Imagine you lent him your iPod and he lost it. Would you really just say 'No probs, I'll claim it off my insurance'. Honestly?
If he said sorry yes. I told him I was sorry I sent him a facebook message saying I was!!0 -

How cheap!
I'd have at least gone for an iphone ...Gone ... or have I?0 -

Sorry for what:
* Committing insurance fraud?
* Handling fraudulently obtained goods?
* Selling the phone obtained fraudulently then lying to him by telling him you lost it?
If this is true - and I very much doubt it because your story is too stupid and too inconsistent - then you have a new upgraded phone, and the money from selling the one you obtained through his insurance.
Pay him back. Otherwise it won't just be court that's beckoning, it will be a police station for insurance fraud.
KiKi' <-- See that? It's called an apostrophe. It does not mean "hey, look out, here comes an S".0 -
Won't the judge understand my point of view? He is ripping me off!! The phone never cost that much! Amazon is cheap!
I bet he actually got it free on a contract aswell!!
the bf has from what you have told us gone about this very amicable so i think the judge will side with you,
why did you sell the phone, if it wasnt the right 1 why not send it back to the ins co or better still keep it and use it0 -
The threads in the wrong section anyway since a loan isnt involved,
we need a section for these type of threads0 -

How have I? the account/phone is in my sisters name
* Handling fraudulently obtained goods?
Again how?
* Selling the phone obtained fraudulently then lying to him by telling him you lost it?
I did loose it, he should get over it. If it meant that much to him the phone then why lend it? He come out with some rubbish that him and that phone have been through alot together I think ITS A PHONE!

It is true, I needed the money, he should drop the money and get on its only a phone, I owe max £30 for two insurance claims!
Pay him back. Otherwise it won't just be court that's beckoning, it will be a police station for insurance fraud.
Again why? He wouldn't go to the police
