I would advise your sister's boyfriend to run away from you and your family as far and as fast as he can."If you think it's expensive to hire a professional to do the job, wait until you hire an amateur." -- Red Adair0

As for what my sister thinks, My dad told her if she doesn't side with me she should never come home (She lives with him) so she is siding with me. They were engaged but my sister said that things are so strained because I told her to tell him to call it off thye may call it off.
I don't feel I owe it to him. He is a nice guy why can't he accept this
You know what, you're right. He's being completely unreasonable. He's out a few hundred quid, why should he care. Really, this guy is lucky to be getting the hell out of dodge before the whole family tries to run an elaborate car/home contents insurance scam that sees him end up in prison.0 -
Hang on, so am i right in thinking you sold the replacement phone ?
so what happened to the phone that was faulty ?
The insurance company took that off me! I asked them for it back
why werent you happy with the replacement phone that was sent ?
I wanted the one I requested not the same one! I thought I was getting a newer phone
why dont you think you should pay your sisters boyfriend back ?
I am a student, I can't afford this amount of money in 7 days he should understand. He throws his money around because he earns alot why can't he wipe this amount off. It is only a phone at the end of the dayWhy not be a nice person and pay the lad what you owe him?how on earth can you claim compo for this, you arent out of pocket
your sisters bf is in the right and has been reasonable and your ruining your sisters relationshp with her bf0 -
This has TROLL written all over it but i like to play
So, YOU break your phone, your sisters boyfriend has done you a favour by letting you claim on HIS insurance AND borrowed you another phone, the insurance company offer you the same phone you broke, but thats not good enough, you are ENTITLED to a better one? Why is that, exactly?
YOU then refuse to pay the excess even though YOU sold the phone the insurance company sent, claim it was lost in the post when in fact you sold it (im a bit confused about posting the phone when you stated you sold it and upgraded via Orange) then "lose" his phone he lent you (yeah, of course you did, if by lost on a bus you mean sold it at Cashconverters) and YOU feel YOU are hard done by!
YOU then blackmail your family to take YOUR side, even though you have stolen 2 phones from him (actually, stolen it from the insurance company and your sisters boyfriend), try to break up your sisters relationship and still claim YOU are the "injured" party here!
Are you sleeping with your sisters boyfriend? Do you have a sideline in selling phones on Ebay? I think its time you got back under your bridge0
