Good news about the Mortgage money, good news that John Lewis are able to apply common sense to the refund, and I am sure you will find at least a penny while you are out!

    :rotfl: and yes I was!

I was in and out in a flash! In fact I was so quick even the bus driver said "Blimey you were quick!" when I got back on! (the bus service I use - there are 2 buses an hour and if you are quick you can jump on the one that brought you in to town to take you home again!)

I don't think I have ever been that quick in town in my life.

I had a quick shufty at some handbags but then told myself to haul a55 outta there as I can have the one I want *after* pay day and not before! :D

So I am home again *and* dodged the showers! Spreadsheet amended too - £27 (not £28, d'oh) back in the account this week....

Now off to check EBAY and see if any bids.....

Lordy, lady! You even beat me! I had to do a shop today as I needed stuff including a new printer cartridge (I know, I know, I should have got one via Quidco and it would have been cheaper too, but needed it for this weekend) and managed to get round four shops in less than an hour. Also did my Save The World!!! routine by refusing all carrier bags and carrying stuff home in my non-Anya Hindmarch shopper.

    Found 2p. Sorry. :rotfl:

Well done at John Lewis - I love them, they're so sensible, and can be so glam too. I really look forward to the time when I can shop at the Oxford Street store again....

I did sell a CD today, for a good price, but loads of my Amazon listings have run out, and I must relist. Still, every 60 days is pretty good!

Aww minnie, you're so lucky finding that 2p! I'm jealous. Do you have a coppers tin/bottle that you save into?

KC...yes I love John Lewis too. Sigh. This is why it was so good that I scarpered out of there before I spent again! Well done on the sale! Re-listing with Amazon is easy peasy too isn't it? I do like Amazon, I know they take quite a cut but it's so effortless really.

I used to - but I got annoyed with the messing about. Now it goes into my purse and if I encounter a snotty shop assistant, that's how I pay 'em.
