I don't think I'll ever understand it! If that skirt doesn't sell (or even goes for the first bid price) I may become combustible!

But I'll keep on selling, digging myself out of this overdraft penny by penny!

    WARNING! WARNING! WARNING!

    LookingAhead is about! :rotfl:

    Great attitude LA :T

  • Ha! Thanks Moozie....that's me alright ;)

Well just a quick update to say the £2 I said I needed to last the week...I made it! :T

    It stayed at £1.77.

Also I got paid today so I stayed below the absolute maximum I wanted to get to with the overdraft. Off to update signature now and will set a new maximum overdraft figure to although this may have to change when I get home and consult the spreadsheet.....

  • I've blown the weekly budget again for the fourth week in a row. :naughty:

It's not through being particularly indulgent (OK OK I bought a new top last weekend and had my hair done) it's just I think it's cos I've been putting off buying things for so long now, and now the credit cards have gone and I can see the overdraft coming down over the next few months, I'm now spening money again on things I've needed but not bought for ages.

I know that sounds like an excuse but they aren't neccessarily big things, just little bits & bobs but it soon mounts up then hey presto! the budget has been blown by £10, £20 or whatever it's been recently.

I think I am going to drop out of the weekly challanges for the time being, not because I am giving myself a free reign to spend like a fool but because I'm all over the place at the moment.

I will start again with Moozie's challenges when I am settled down a bit and a bit more organised and in the meantime I am going to concentrate on getting what I need to buy the cheapest way, can I get cashback etc and also earning any money possible to throw at the overdraft.

I will be writing a list of upcoming expenditure soon and things I need (or want...as long as they are *little* things ;)) and then I can get a grip of things a lot better.

This is not falling off the wagon...this is just me being disorganised and I need to sort it out!

Hi LA:j :j :j you've had some ups and downs this month....don't be so hard on yourself!!!!...look at everything you've achieved....well done on paying your credit cards off...that's fantastic:T :T :T :T ..well done on saving for that ticket and I'm so glad you really enjoyed yourself....you have achieved so much...you should be proud of yourself:T :T :T :T ...look what you owe overall now compared with 12 months ago....it doesn't matter if the overdraft takes a little longer to clear....things don't always go as planned...you're still a star and don't forget it!!!....like you say you need things and you are going about it the right way...ie looking if you can get it cheaper...sorry I wasn't about to give you my support but I'm back now...so you know where I am...
  • HI TAXI!!!!

How lovely to "see" you again! I hope your holiday was fantastic? I have to catch up with your diary/you soon. Unfortunately I have just popped on here very quickly before bed.

I am off away somewhere for the weekend so shall be doing the rounds, probably Monday, as I have the day off (yessss!) so plenty of time to catch up with all sorts then.

Thanks for your lovely response, you are very kind and always supportive.

Looking forward to reading up on your news.

Take care & bye for now.

    xx LA xx
