Which would you pick. Nokia C7 or LG Optimus 7?

Win 7 as Symbian is not up to scratch .
Saying that compared to IOS4 or Android Win 7 is really a Beta product .
But you need to decide on what you want and what you want the phone to do .

I would go with a Nokia C7. It's a highly rated Nokia phone. Also, Nokia phones on the high end will be hard to come by as they move to Windows Phone 7. Personally, I like the phone tools for sending SMS.0

the C7 has proper offline satnav built in in the form of ovi maps, which could be good if you want it, also symbian is a very mature OS and can practically do anything, although it may feel clunky at times, if you have used symbian before it will be easy.0

I'd go with Nokia over LG any day. I had a very bad experience (experienceS!) with LG the last 2 years and would never unwittingly go back. Plus I'd worry less about the battery of an LG then with a Nokia as my last few LGs (replacements) battery never lasted a full day. The Nokias I've had in the past have always bettered battery power then other handsets in comparison. I also think Nokias are more robust handsets for day to day use.0

Definitely go for the Nokia C7. Excellent Battery, Ovi Maps, built to last, and its cheaper.
In fact £150 is a great price which I'd want one for myself at! - is it sim free & where are you seeing that price?0 -
I assume you realise the Symbian O/S is due to be replaced by WP7 on all Nokia's phones in the next 12 months or so. From my own experience that will means less apps/games being produced for the C7, if you look at any Nokia forums, I am a Nokia owner, most users seem disappointed with N8.
I believe LG's only come with a 12 month warrenty whereas Nokia/HTC etc come with a 2 year warrenty so you can draw your own concluesions form that.
At the moment i don't think you can beat an Android OS phone in my view.0
