    Hello peeps.

Had a busy day, went to football with Ds2, DS1 came to watch too, and they got beaten both games :( The second game, the boys in the other team were very rough, and the Ref (who was one of their fathers  ) did nothing!!!! If it had been at home, and one of our dads was ref'ing, he would have stopped the game and called order. One of our boys has come home injured, and his dad lost the plot a bit for what was a nasty body check, said the "F word" and the ref threatened to abandon the game because of his bad language!! He shouldn't have sworn, but his boy got really hurt, and the ref did nothing - he had the cheek to give his team the free kick for that one! Sorry, rant over, but five of our boys got badly tackled / challeneged without them winning the ball, my DS even got kicked in the jaw! These are eight year old children, btw. :(

can you not complain to anyone? :(

    Thanks for replies everyone,

JackieG Yes I am afraid so. Its an Audi A8 which means they are special electronic ones or something, I didn't want to buy the car in the first place, it has always been expensive, although it is beautiful, but yes that is the price and you can't get them second hand. But believe me as soon as possible it will be gone:mad:

Off to watch the match. Red half of Manchester in this house. Lets hope we win or I will have 3 sulky boys to put up with:cool:

Urgh Julie. My OH has been making big eyes at an Audi, and apart from the fact that I don't really want to have another car loan just now, the thought of the repair costs terrify me. No wonder you want rid. x

The team coach does a match report Lou, so it will be highlighted to the people in charge of the league. Don't know what kind of difference it will make, though.

    Afternoon All

Been busy here, swimming this morning with DD, she had me trying to teach her how to do tumble turns! I find it very hard to show someone what to do when you know what you are doing! Hoovered round (cheated by dusting with the attachment too!) and went for lemons and ginger as we have loads of rhubarb in the garden and I think I shall try my hand at making rhubarb and ginger jam. I hate rhubarb itself and ended up throwing it all away last year. The jam doesn't taste of the rhubarb apparently so I should be ok.

Just spent the last 4 hours in the garden, cut the grass (moss actually) and tidied lots of bits that have needed doing for ages. 2 loads of washing dried on the line it's breezy here and dry but not sunny.

Hope everyone's ok, sorry to hear of poorlies and those with money worries, take care. XX

    Evening all!

Dropped kids with their dad and then got stuck on the M5 for ages! Just volume of traffic, holiday season is in full swing down here, still at least it wasn't an accident. Went for lunch with best friend and met up with his best friend and his wife and little girl, was lovely sitting out in the sunshine. Did a whizz to Asda afterwards, needed some cold drinks and fruit juice, and found a couple of extra large whoopsied pizzas, thought they'd be handy for the kids for dinner, but they had pizza for lunch with their dad lol! Collected kids and now flopped in front of Hugh and gaining baking inspiration!

Meant to be multitasking and looking up ice cream recipes as I bought a new ice cream maker in John Lewis, much sturdier than my old one (paddle and bits had vanished so had to get rid of it as replacement parts were more than a new one!). Bowl is currently in freezer, so will be experimenting when I get home from work tomorrow.

Just need to have a quick hoover around as I think the cats threw a party whilst we were out! Then give the seeds and plants a watering and I'm done for the evening :)

Woohoo I got a large chunk of uni work out of the way today  I'm gonna finish for the day and crack on again tomorrow. It's not due for a month but I wanna have Easter to enjoy myself, and then have a friend coming to stay shortly after for 10days so won't have time then. And then only 10 days after that to finish off the work.

JackieG - that sounds awful!
JackieO - I love how you just whip up cakes for your family :A
    Bitsy - nice new locks!

I have veggie spag bol cooking on the stove now, absolutely starving! Gonna have night in with my book and Britain's Got Talent.

    Have a good night all
