    Good Morning All

Lazy start this morning :o though I did get up earlier than I have been.

So far have made several cups of tea and caught up with blog reading.

Not going to make plans for today, have lots to do but will just see how it goes, sometimes I get more done that way - but I am not guaranteeing it
    :rotfl:

Have spent too much the last couple of days :( and was thinking that the week ahead will be a very frugal one but I have just received an email from Quidco telling me that £92 is on its way to my bank account :j so that is a brilliant start to the day.

Really should think about getting dressed now :p so best be off.x

Morning everyone - back from my week long work trip and boy was I pleased to plonk down on my own sofa and slide into my own bed.

I have already done two loads of washing and been to do the shopping! Now settling down in front of the TV for Time Team and the PC for banking, surfing and some working. Today I have to pay:
    TV licence
    Car tax
credit card bill (new debit card arrived whilst I was away) x 2

but luckily my two months of expenses claims are in and will cover all of the bills with some left over for squirrelling away.

Sun is shining again here but I'm indoors for the day now.

I haven't read anything since Monday so hope that everyone is doing fine, doing better or on the way to being better.

    Happy Saturday everyone. :D:D

    Morning all,

Looks like another lovely day here, bit overcast atm, but looks like it will get better later :T

Little dog is having a phantom pregnancy, poor little thing has been in 'labour' for two days, apparantly they have all the signs of a normal pregnancy just nothing to show for it, she is pacing and panting and nest building and is very clingy towards me, she has some medicine from the vet, so hopefully that will kick in soon.

First wash is on the line, 2nd in machine, need to hoover through, OH can do that while I clean the kitchen.

Not sure what we are up today, but tonight we are off to a party, its within walking distance, and the food is all being done by waitrose :T, we will have something small before we go, but will graze whilst there, looking forward to that.

Cat, I have always said that if I ever got married I would go and do it quietly without telling anyone, I just would hate all the fuss, but I can see it from your point too, hope all goes well for them x

Kathy, opps, hope the oven sorts itself out xx

OK better get on, have good days all xx

    Morning all

Cat - Wow that's quick! But as long as they are happy with it then that's all that matters really.

Grey start here today, and to be honest I'm glad cos I need to do uni work today and the sun shining would be a distraction :rotfl:. i think it may brighten up later though.

So no lunch with girls or shopping today, but think we are going to cinema tomorrow night. I've been invited to a 50th birthday party tonight, but I don't think I'm going to go. I'd have to drive there, and it will be full of ex-colleagues who I have no desire to see again (:o). Also, I'm still not good with dark noisy places with the vertigo. I saw the birthday lady last week anyway so I won't feel guilty for not going.

OS wise - DW emptied, kitchen surfaces wipes, kitchen floor swept, WM is loaded but am going to wait before putting it on to see if the weather improves as it could rain.

So I'm off to do uni work. Going to do it in 2 hour blocks and have half hour breaks then. Wish me luck!!

    Have a good day all

Have emptied and loaded the DW. Washing is out on the airers and another load in.

Have started to scrub the kitchen and appliances. The hob top is gopping and is going to take me a while to get clean. It is amazing how much grease had got up onto the extraction hood as well. and the side of the cupboards either side.

up very early today as DS wet the bed so had him in the bath at silly o clock....DH never even stirred:o
DH gone to work for a bit.
DS had huge meltdown yesterday teatime:eek:biggest for ages. Everyone was exhausted afterwards. He was particularly awful to DH shouting that he wanted him to get out of his house and for his daddy to come back here:o he always picks things he knows will hurt. He hates going to his dads.
Going to do some baking later. DH making pizzas for tea later.

Taplady well done to DS2:T sounds like he is doing really well (at work and lovelife;)). oh and stop putting pictures of your ugly men on FB....put me right off my chocolate brioche that did:cool:
Redruby poor little dog bless her, she must be wondering whats going on.

going to go and have some painkillers. My side started hurting yesterday at top of my ribs under my arm.....really tender and when I felt it there is a lump there:o so now pooing myself that I have bone cancer or lymphoma ( i hate being a nurse sometimes). I am sure it must be something that has just happened as it just started hurting yesterday but it is playing on my mind now :(

Hi everyone, I also read every day but don't always have time to post.

NoahsPM - huge hugs for you, must be worrying. Sometimes too much knowledge is a bad thing.
HardupHester - I do the same with breakfast too, the others have full, I usually have scrambled eggs - not least becuase it uses up some of the egg mountain
Cat - it is the kind of thing I would do :o but I can see how upsetting it would be for others.
Silvermaid - cauli cheese sounds good, I have one to use up too
miecherox - I meant to post the other day about your work situation. Someone somewhere has realised that you have a very strong case with being pregnant, and they are trying to undo the damage. Try and get professional advice before you fo anything, and whatever happens, take notes.
essex girl - I had a nice suprise form quidco this morning so we are going to the pub for lunch as a nice treat after a fairly frugal month
bargain bird - pleased to see you are trying to sort things out, I liked your post about going for a walk

:wave:hello to everyone else, and I hope everyone has a good day

Lovely day here, small boys are learning to ride their bikes, not easy when we live on the side of a hill

My adventures with bread are continuing, and I think I have finally crakced it, so thanks for the encouragement Sunshine Bear and everyone else. I just needed to knead for longer which given that I use the Kenwood isn't actually an issue. Children loving the bread which is great.

Hope you feel better soon, get to the docs if not! x x x

Redruby - poor little dog, not even a pup to show for her efforts:(. Hope she's over it soon x x x
