It's a samsung touch screen something or other.
I ask because I used to experience similar problems on my iPhone 3GS, when i spoke to Orange about it they said it's because data gets priority, so if I was using the internet on my phone and a call came it would be missed because a data connection was already established.
No idea if that was some BS response but that is what they told me.I would have used my own initiative if someone would have told me to!0 -
Nothing you can do about this in terms of complaining. It is a cell capacity issue.
As others have said, use a landline next time.
Mobile phone companies would love to have as many cells as possible, however people object to planning applications for masts etc because they think the signal is frying everyone's brains ('think of the children  etc etc'), so the operators cannot improve services in busy areas.
The irony is of course that the mobile networks are often overloaded because the very same objectors give their kids bl**dy iPhones!!!British Ex-pat in British Columbia!0 -
Are Orange the phone network at fault with this and should we complain.:(
Yes Orange are at fault. The problem is the cell site that you were connected to is over-subscribed. It took me 3 months to get Orange to admit that to me. The solution is to go into the settings on your phone and force it onto GSM.0 -
Does not matter if it was the networks fault or not you have no claim for your missed prize .
