Not supposed to be "netiquette" to type in caps, but you don't know these things 'til they're pointed out to you.:)

Have you got other voucher codes already banked?

I noticed that there's a £10 one due to expire this week so to make sure I got it in I had to re-juggle my delivery days to save the £15 for next week instead. I just wonder if they might have over-ridden your £15 codes to stop you losing out on the £10 one?

Having said that, I'm just hoping the £15 will work next week now bearing in mind what people have said today :o

    Hi Curry_Queen.

I cant understand why they would do that though, last week was the first time ive shopped online with tesco so have only used the £15 code for my shop last week and everything went through fine.

However my mums due home off holiday on Wednesday so I thought id use the other £15 off code and put an order in again for this week to have some essentials here for her when she does and topped it up with my weekly shop, I used a different code, registered my mums name for an account but to my address, the code went through online ok, but the invoice says -£10  maybe they have swapped the codes, or maybe they've just reduced the discount , i honestly dont know, but ive done ok out of it and thats better than nowt.

Good luck to everyone else tho, hope they deduct the £15 for ya all :)

  • I used the £15 off code for an order that arrived yesterday. When I checked the invoice, they'd only taken £10 off (still good I know!).

When I rang Tesco Customer Services to point this out, they wanted to know where I'd got the code from. The lady asked if I'd had it by email or in the post. AS she caught me on the hop I said "e-mail". She said that if I emailed a copy to them along with the confirmation email of my order they'd give me a refund.

Sounds like they're cracking down on the sharing of their codes.
Hopeless by name, hopeless by nature.

Oooh, please don't ring them! If we don't make it blatently obvious we're getting these codes "by other means", we're more likely to get away with it for longer. There have been a couple of instances of people 'phoning Tesco and being caught out ... let's just be grateful these codes are available for our use.

Strange one this ... they took the £15 coupon off my last week's shop, so seem to have got away with it. I wonder what it depends on then:confused:

In cases where there are a number of different value codes expiring on the same date, they're supposed to take the highest amount first, but I've noticed they don't always do this.
