MimiJane wrote:Oooh, please don't ring them! If we don't make it blatently obvious we're getting these codes "by other means", we're more likely to get away with it for longer. There have been a couple of instances of people 'phoning Tesco and being caught out ... let's just be grateful these codes are available for our use.
MimiJane,
Don't worry I didn't say anything I shouldn't have. I just said that I would email them and thanks very much etc etc.Hopeless by name, hopeless by nature.0 -

cheeky wrote:!!!!!! - delivery driver arrived and they had taken the £15 off completely!!! It said on the delivery note "we will email you tomorrow why the voucher has been removed" - its either them getting smart, or net spend was under £50. I thought your total spend had to be over £50?? And it was...
the same has happened to me Cheeky!!!
i checked the price on the subs lucky 4 me i refused the whole shop, as it says i will be able to reuse the code.
my total was £53.?? with delivery...........0 -
I've just registered for Tesco online shopping today.
I've had a Tesco clubcard for years.
At this moment I have over 50 pounds worth of shopping in my shopping basket.
Tesco has banged on a fiver for delivery.
The system has "swallowed" a 15 pound ecoupon I found on pricedash.com, bringing the total down to just over 40 pounds. I've not found any significant Bogofs.
The tesco.com t&c says:
"The right to use an eCoupon is personal to the original recipient and may not be transferred."
So I could have my discount rejected during/before delivery.
Where the heck am I supposed to get an ecoupon from if Tesco never sends me one for being a new user?
They have never sent me one for being a clubcard holder !
Well how are you supposed to get one?
I'd like to hear Martins view on all this.
Do Tesco take and accept ecoupons or not? Are they just stringing us along.
Compared to shopping on Iceland, I find the Tesco experience very dull.
Shopping with vouchers on this site sounds like russian roulette.
I'm very tempted to junk the cart and sign up with Asda for a new experience.[ Eat, Drink and be Merry - for tomorrow we get the bill ]0 -
i too am a trifle concerned!
i received (genuinely) my CC vouchers and attached was the voucher for £15 off £50, with the code that has been on here, and on freewebs. Are you guys telling me, that although i might have the voucher, tesco will reduce it to 10quid?
I suppose, i shouldn't moan too much, but it is a pisser when i actually got the voucher, but tesco, because of overuse might not redeem it for me?Talon "Ace" Karrde

If you've been sent a £15 coupon and can prove you've been sent it, they have a legal obligation to honour it (as per their T&C's). Don't worry ... if they don't, all you have to do is contact them and they'll have to refund you.Wins since 2009 = £17,600MANY THANKS TO ALL OPS0 -

Am I to understand that I can use these voucher codes for my Tesco online shopping? Are the dates given expiry dates? If so why would I use the one for a fiver when i can use the one for a tenner?
Sorry if I'm being an idiot...as I said I'm new here!

Hi Pat,
Don't worry, we were all new once.:) In answer to your queries ... yes, yes and just "bank" all the codes, Tesco should use deduct the highest discount first (though they often don't!).
For details of how to bank codes on Tesco.com, click on the following link and look at post number 27 :
