Can someone tell me, with these ecoupons when it asks for minimum order value, does it reject the coupon if on the day of delivery your actual order is under £50 because of items not available or because of multi buy items which lower the value.

My order has come to £51.73 so it has accepted the coupon, but that price is the guide only.

No looby, my order consisted of mostly bogof's and 1 item wasn't available and I sent one back.

My basket total said £52 but in the end I paid just under £30.

The coupon just registers against your basket total before any reductions are made.

Same here, total was just over £50 like moggins but was £36 after multibuys etc still received the £15 off on both orders

Has anyone tried confirming their basket when the total's over £50 (thus getting the £15 discount), then taking items off?

I did the opposite of this, confirmed my order when under £50 then built the basket over £50, and expected the code to automatically be triggered.
When the shopping arrived I noticed this hadn't happened, so I rang Tesco's and they gave me the refund over the phone.

Just thinking out loud...if it works one way then why not the other?

No it doesn't the calculation is done at the checkout page.

In the vast majority of cases there is a minimum spend at Tesco.com. As a general guide, it's £50 for £5 off and £75 for £10 (though occasionally they'll offer £10 off a £50 shop).

RJ244 IS £10 off £50
