There are 2 different messages that can appear regarding the use of the codes. If your message is in relation to your account, i.e. along the line of "you have used" this code the maximum number of times, then indeed you will not be able to use it again on that account.
If, however, the message is along the lines of "this code" has been used the maximum number of times, then you will be able to try it again. Tesco introduced some kind of 'safety net' which means that any particular code can only be used a certain number of times in a certain timeframe. I have no idea what the specifics are, but for instance it could be x hundred times in a day, or x times in an hour (you get the drift I'm sure)...
I hope that clarifies my point a little better0 -

I see what you're saying but that doesn't explain my earlier "experiment" whereby I could use the same code on one but not the other account within a few minutes of each other, and the message read "this code has been used" etc ...
Also, I don't see how they could have put in software to account for the codes as everyone sees a different screen pertaining to their own local store when they log in, which is probably another reason that no discounts or offers are taken off at online checkout as they probably just use a general template.
Unless of course you have inside info and can explain to us a bit better how it works"An Ye Harm None, Do What Ye Will"

nice one
Been looking for the Fosters Lager on the Tesco web site to order some. Cannot find it on there, only the smaller packs not the 24 cans on offer. I assume this was the soffer being advertised in the press at £10?
If it is this £10 Fosters for 24 cans can you please paste link to correct Tesco page or point me in correct direction.
many thanks0 -

It's definitely showing up as 24 cans for £10 at my store. Have you tried to use the search bar at the top of the page? It would narrow down the products to look through then"An Ye Harm None, Do What Ye Will"

If you just type fosters in the search box it should be the first on the list of results.0
