As an aside, the van driver told me last week that he recently gave a customer an apple as a substitute for a packet of fags!

OMG, I bet somebody was happy (not:rolleyes: ). One of the packers has obviously got a sense of humour, or is just plain dumb. Perhaps Tesco are doing their bit for the NHSicon12.gif

  • I once placed an order at about 5pm for delivery the next day, I asked for payment to come out of the wrong account (no money in it) and after realising cancelled the order by which time of course all slots for delivery had been taken, so I decided to forget tesco for that week and go to my local co-op to get my weekly shop (tres expensive)

the next day whilst sat eating all my co-op goodies my tesco's shopping arrives    I told the driver that the order had been cancelled and was now worried about the bank charging me £30 for going overdrawn but she said the card had already been debited and I have paid for the shopping so either way I would be charged by bank (even if she took it back which was pointless) she said to take the order then sort it out with customer services and thats what I did.

I called them only to be told my order was not cancelled, you have to cancel 24 hours before the delivery time and she was moaning that I should have had a cancellation confirmation email (never got one) so now I had 2 loads of shopping and nothing could be done as I had ACCEPTED the order.

needless to say I spent forever on the phone to try and sort this out and get refunded for my bank charges but it was hopeless to expect this, they would not budge an inch but now I know if you ever need to cancel an order I would always phone it through and make sure its done

Also i have been shopping online with tesco now for 3-4 years and only recently found you can use discount vouchers through this website(thanx) so I feel in someway if I even get my delivery for free that it will make up in the longrun for any delivery problems

LMAO!!! I like that one................and it makes nore sense than mine substituting 1 chilli mix for 2 boxes of choco hoops, and then not putting them in anyway!

Went in again yesterday and refunded these choco hoops AND the item of organic baking, which I have no idea to what it was

  • I've used a £15 voucher, and just used a £10 voucher, and wanted to say thank you for that :)
  • Thanks for the codes I'm a regular Tesco shopper and saving money is a bonus! Did anyone else realise that tesco accept Sainsburys on-line vouchers (just give them to your driver and they are taken off your bill and credited back to your account). :j

    Thanks Rusty

New codes are few and far between right now as Tesco are gradually working their way around all the web sites that broadcast them and instructing them to stopicon9.gif

I suspect that the ones you've tried therefore have now been used "the maximum amount of times" or have expired. I'll pm you and send you the link to a site that, at the moment, is still posting them. Better not do it on here in case someone from Tesco is watching (paranoid or what:rolleyes: ). You may of course have no luck at all with these codes as I'm sure the majority (if not all) have already been posted on here, but worth a try .......
