I decided to try a second account, in my son's name, and used the £10 voucher that I'd had problems with on my own account and it accepted it this time on a £50 shop

I'm even more peed off now that it refused to work on my own account until I'd put £100 in my basket

I've been a regular customer for around 3 years now and have a delivery almost every week but have only been using voucher codes during the last couple of months so why are they being so unfair :(

    dragonfly02, YES I WAS THERE!

Gets worse though, picked up order from store no receipt & when unpacked at home 2 things missing pack of gammon & 6pt semi- skimmed milk!!
Call me cynical but now shop total is below £50 so does that mean £15 code not valid

hmm you were there and they tried to deliver??? I had this once before the kids had been up ill from 5am and my shopping was due between 12-2 pm the same day, I waited till 2pm then phoned the store who told me they had tried to deliver. I said IMPOSSIBLE as i had been up since 5am and in ALL day. they said the driver was now about 10 miles away and could not get to me today and they would re-deliver about 3 days later.
needless to say I am one hell of an arguer and got the shopping delivered the same day with appologies from the driver!!
how dare they tell me they had already been, I think as it was a sunday the driver wanted to finish early so if he didn't deliver in his slot that someone else would have to do it and he could go home early
Running total for swagbucks - £270 since Jan
    Running total for superpoints -

And that's what I'll be doing today too!!!

Just had the worse delivery I've ever had! For some BIZARRE reason they decided to substitute a chilli sauce sachet for 2 boxes of Tesco Kids Choco Hoops!!! BUT they weren't even in the order when I went through it all!!!! Of course I've been charged for them though, along with a box of Wheeto's bars and an item of organic baking (didn't order).....................that I also haven't received, coming to £5.65!!!!

BUT I did get the £15 off voucher accepted on the original total of £98.86, but of course at the moment that's only equating to £3.36 by the time you take off the del. total and the unreceived items!!!!!

  • Wine turned up instead of the champagne deal from the grabbit thread :o(

Then 9, count'em!, items missing from delivery - not even in the van - this means a trip out shopping on Easter Saturday for our holiday food - cheers Tesco!

Have complained re. the groceries and got the refund, but this happens really often and defeats home delivery when you have to go out and get the stuff yourself they've forgotton to put in the van.

The champagne is a different matter as I can't get anyone to take responsibility for the wrong order - van driver says if they've any in store then he'll get it out to us - but usually this store says things are not in stock... (even daily newspapers!)

As an aside, the van driver told me last week that he recently gave a customer an apple as a substitute for a packet of fags!

By the way, I'm just outside Glasgow - anyone else have thisa problem locally?

My 1st go at it bit of a failure & thats before i know the discount is succesful, 5-7pm slot today @ 5.30 find a "tried to del card" on door mat no time or contact Number on it, rang 10 min later customer serv says driver "knocked & rang bell 3 times" & next del slot Sat! H,mm
Now i`m going to pick up from store tomorrow ( as part of a scheduled trip to barbers) avoiding £5 re-del charge.

That happened to me - Tesco went to the wrong house and then dumbly described a completely different front door to customer services as proof that they'd called!!! When I disputed this - describing my real front door - the customer services person actually kept repeating that the driver had called - in the end we asked if they were calling us a liar!

We managed to get the groceries redelivered with a refund of the delivery charge - since then we give a very detailed note on the order to the driver so there can't be any excuses - just as well as a couple of times they have phoned to tell me "we're outside your house and you're not in!"...if it wasn't so annoying you'd have to laugh!
