Lets face it not only are fat people a strain on overburdened infrastructure(taking up space on NHS and causing old pavements and bridges to crack under the strain of their obese bodies) they are also an absolute horror to look at.

Does it make me bad person that I burst out laughing at this?

I am not in favour of this at all! I am obese but perfectly fit - I cycle to work every day, I have no health issues and I haven't been to see my doctor for years!

I think we should have an extra tax bracket for those who have nothing better to do than post nonsense on the internet all day.

most horribly fat people don't have jobs, and therefore have no ability to pay tax.

Bring back Victorian work-houses. This kills multiple birds with one stone:

    1) We won't have to pay for their three-bed semi council houses; far cheaper to put them all up in dormitories

    2) They'll be doing physical labour and also be provided with normal-sized meals and will therefore be likely to lose weight

I have an issue with flying. The main cost is fuel and the amount of fuel is directly related to the weight of the plane. At check in you should stand on the scales with your luggage and be charged per kilogram.

Actually agree with this. I get exactly the same strictly-enforced luggage allowance as someone who weighs twice as much as me. Seems nonsensical.

I also worry about the safety issue; they calculate the amount of fuel to load planes with so precisely these days. If a fatty convention board a 747 to New York it would probably ditch somewhere off the Scottish coast when it ran out of fuel.

this sounds like an excellent idea. let's start structuring the tax band using some examples. first example:

"I am obese but perfectly fit"

suppose someone posted this nonsense, what would the tax charge be?

£3.50 tax every time someone says "I want house prices to fall because it will benefit [STRIKE]me[/STRIKE] the economy."

the really fat people (and I mean seriously fat, not just a high bmi cos you're 6'2 and well built) are off on the sick, get benefits, and use this to buy dominos. And they proabably get a disabilty allowance too cos they can't get out. Their living cost is only for the roof over their head, sky (why get sky+ when you're in front of the telly all day), and that's probably about it, ergo a huge dispoable income. Add to that that we are probably paying for healthcare (someone to clean the sores or their bums), psychological support (cos it ain't normal, these people need help), and then hospital treatment... all this and they aren't paying any taxes at all. Apart from on their food.
So my idea is to lower VAT on other stuff, and increase it on food. All food. Just cos food is deemed 'healthy', eating 12Kgs a day of it certainly is not!

i think only people with a job, and not claiming any benefit at all should be allowed the right to fly. this will cut CO2*

*even though man made global warming/climate change is just made up garbage.

so that would mean the majority of adults wouldn't be able to fly including ones that work who are on tax credit benefit and child benefits
Martin has asked me to tell you I'm about to cut the cheese, pull my finger.
