we only invited plus ones (by name) if our friends were married, in long term relationship, any of our other friends if they haven't been going with anyone didn't get a plus one (and thankfully didn't complain)
must admit i'm so glad our family were great about who to invite, my mum only asked about 2 people who i would have invited anyway had i remembered about them myself in the first place.
as for extended family my dad is one of 14 and my mum is one of 7 so inviting cousins to the full day was going to be impossible so we just invited them to the evening do (which they all fully understood anyway as most of them are married as well)
think i've been pretty lucky with my guest list actually.... with just over 2 weeks to the big day hopefully nothing crops up now :rotfl:0
