    Great advertising for Provident Personal Credit and the way they treat their Agents.

    No wonder so many Agents have left them.
  • an agent at my office got fined/deducted £55 from their wages but it should have been ONLY £35, last week was the same so they are trying any way they can to get money back somehow.

    what more proof do we need that provident are losing money and will get it back any way they can.

    heard today that an agent hasnt took any money from his hits and wins as he disregards the system on his wages, he has been doing this since the system started, so far he has been getting away with it.
  • well peeps this makes me so upset ,ive been on hols for 2wks have had a loyal andtrustworthy friend to cover my book as done for 6yrs,the first wk prov thieved £120 off him hence loved my hols was on an high till i saw my mate,hes not going to cover me again ,he was devastated and so was i, im really ready to throw in the towel how much more can we take ???
  • I'm sorry but the £120 loss is yours. Its your book and you should pay him the money. You must have known that some of your customers were that close to costing you. 5/6 and 8/9 weekers!!!! Its possible for you to earn £120 back in the next week or so giving you a nice little bonus whilst your friend lost out. It wasn't his fault you went on holiday just at the time so many of your customers crossed the mark that costs you money. Come on its your book, give him his money and try to get at least some of it back in the next few weeks. Then I'm sure you'll have your deputy for future holidays.........................
  • to all agents,

    did you know that if a customer goes on holiday and pays up front for the 2 weeks that they are away...it will be classed as 2 missed payments and our commission will be cut from 9.5% to 8%.

    also if a customer cant pay for a week or so our commission and our petrol will be hit...surley these are enough fines for us agents.

    again last week i asked for a detailed list of the hits and wins...again i havent got one.
    has anyone got a customer who has gone to a debt management company? i have 2 on my book and i am told ''if a letter gets sent to the office i will be immune to any charges''...i have been hit twice £30 total and i have seen a debt management letter but my office still keep dragging their feet to repay me.

    cheesed off to say the least!
  • hi doinadaftjob you need to request an ABC audit report this will detail every customer showing what you earned and how you were fined for each customer,you have the right to see this and dm cannot refuse to give it to you.

    hang on a sec andrew i give all my wages to my deputy ,there is no problem with me it is with provident,, did over 200 which was rightly my deputys , so while im away ive no wages anyway so what am i supposed to give ,and as far as customers not paying ,while the cats away the mice will play ,they think theyre on hols as well, it just made my deputy feel sick to think prov are doing this,and to us agents , walk away and dont look back you deserve better than this from provident ;
