Send another email in a week, if no reply to that after 3 days then ask Amazon for a refund.

That response is utter complete rubbish. Was it a private seller or a trader?Don't bother trying to sue me - I've got no money!0 -
he was a private seller but i read his profile and that first and saw all good reports for him so i went ahead - he hasnt replied to my email so im going to go straight in and let amazon sort it by filing a charge back - not patient to sit and wait lol0

Reading his profile, he appears have 79 brand new printers for sale so I would say he was a trader rather than a private seller.0 -
Agreed - the seller will be classed as being in the course of business. Let Amazon sort it - the seller is obviously not totally committed to his legal obligations.Don't bother trying to sue me - I've got no money!0

thanks - he sent me another email this morning saying more or less the same as the one before but with a number to quote on the box - i do not have the original box as i always unpack and chuck the outer boxes as i dont have the space to store........but, he said in his terms it must be in the original box.......do you think i will get refunded? why oh why didnt i just go to comet or somewhere and get one?0
