Every time he goes out on an unlicensed bike, phone your local police on their non-emergency to report it. They'll probably ask for a description of the bike and the rider, at which point you can give his name and address as well.

It may take a few times but the bikes will end up confiscated and crushed.

Not round here. I've lost count on how many times I've contacted the police, given details etc and nothing gets done.

when you ring, say the rider has almost knocked a child over, and you fear it is going to happen to another child, they will always attend on the off chance it was to happen. If the rider then did knock a child over after they didnt attend it would mean they have failed in their duty and could be investigated by the IPCC, always gets them moving.

Wait until one of them is passing your open window, be ready with your yard brush and sweep them off. Then claim you suffer with St Vitus Dance. Alternatively, pretend to throw something and shout `CATCH.`

Believe it or not, they actually clipped several people before, and almost knocked a child over. I reported this to the police and voila, nothing happens.

Have you made an official complaint? Or asked to see a duty Inspector? There definitely should be action taken in the circumstances you describe.
