I use a signal booster on my freeview box and it really improves the number of channels I can get. Also don't scan during bad weather - I lose all my channels when its cold!0

Are you saying that Channel 3 is now Anglia instead of Central?
I live in Spalding and the retune went OK, all channels replaced as they should be.
Someone I know in Whittlesey, tuned and pointing to Waltham, can also receive Sandy Heath Anglia perfectly, after the Sandy heath changes a few weeks ago. Apparently the transmitted power of Sandy was increased 8 fold which could account for your change.
If you would prefer Anglia to Central I doubt a new aerial is required, just turn it round.
If you can get a signal whilst pointing at Waltham I do not think you would need to be too accurate in your alignment.
Hi, yes, thanks for the reply! Ch 3 is now Anglia and BBC1 is now BBC East rather than East Midlands. If I go to channel 800 then I can receive BBC1 East Midlands with the other channels rising through the eight hundreds. I live near Spalding, but have always found the news about Derby and Notts to be a bit distant, so Anglia would definitely be better. So, I'll persuade someone to clamber onto my roof and realign by 90 degrees! I just wondered whether others could get the whole spectrum of digital channels in this neck of the woods. We do border three different TV areas here.0 -
I am in Spalding and have lost loads of channels including all of ITV except ITV2 plus 1 but breaks up all of the time, I have tried re-tuning, turning tv off and pulling aerial out etc this has happened to all tvs in the house so not isolated to one tv, any suggestions?0

Which is your aerial pointing towards?
http://www.digitaluk.co.uk/postcodechecker/main/trade/pe113yr/NA/0/NATime has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.0 -
Hi, am not sure which way it is pointing towards other than it is pointing southwest using a compass. The strange thing is though I did used to have all these channels until a couple of weeks ago when I re-tuned them after they kept breaking up.0

For Waltham (Central) the aerial would be pointing roughly westerly and for Belmont (yorkshire) it would be roughly Northerly.0 -
According to the Digital UK prediction for PE11 3YR (a Spalding postcode, I believe), you should have near perfect reception on all 6 multiplxes from Waltham and of 5 out of the 6 multiplexes (excluding mux C) from Belmont too.

Hi, I didn't watch the news on itv mainly bbc, but when we watched it not through Sky but through the digital tv it was East Midlands today when we watched bbc through sky it was Look North, itv was Calendar but not sure whether this was through Sky or digital. The aerial is definitely more south westerly than North, if we tried turning the aerial do you think that might change the signal? If moving it would help it which way would we turn it?0

Just watching the itv news on the analogue and it is Central TV.0

Have a look at your neighbours and see if the same as yours.
there is a mixture in Spalding with some pointing to Waltham and some to Belmont (North).
Round here they all seem to point to Waltham.0
