Hi
Not sure if this is the place to post but can anyone help? As the instructions have been telling us to re-scan I have done and just lost loads of channels on freeview. I have a 40" Sony Bravia with built in freeview and its HD ready and digital tv arial, so not sure whats happened? We're in the North Cambs/South Lincs area so not sure if others have also lost channels due to transmitter problems?
Solution anyone?

Switch it off and on again and do another re-scan and see how you get on.Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.0

I take it that you are somewhere near to the Crowland area and your Aerial is pointing to the Waltham transmitter (roughly westerly).
Waltham did make some changes at 6am this morning which meant you had to do a brand new autotune. I have just completed mine and the channels have been restored, one which was missing after 6 oclock was ITV 1, but that is now back.
What channels are you missing? I will check to see if I have them.0 -
I`m in the Northants/Beds area (sandy Heath) and switched over to HD today.
Yesterday I had 119 freeview channels, today, although the 4 HD channels are showing, I`ve only got 107 channels total.
Missing seem to be 802 to 815.0 -

Think that channels above 800 are duplicates of "normal" channels, from a 2nd, weaker, transmitter. When I retuned to Culverhouse(Wales) recently I picked up some channels from the Mendip transmitter which are listed above 800.0 -
I have a problem as well, I can't get any of itv 1, 2, 3 channel 4 and 5. I'm on waltham I think and did this latest retune after 8 this morning.
One minute I can retune and the channels are there in the list but with no pictures or sound and if I retune it again, they disappear??????????
I give up.0 -

I would just like to add to this that the tv in the bedroom which is three years old picks up 119 channels (none HD).
The new one which is 6 months old gets only 107, 4 of which are HD.
The HD signal was only switched on yesterday when I retuned, previously the new tv got 119 channels the same as the one upstairs.
802 to 815 missing on the new one

As an aside to all of this, I live to the south of Spalding and only a few miles from Crowland. Since re-tuning my Humax box prioritises Anglia broadcasts even though my aerial is pointing towards Waltham. The Anglia/BBC East transmissions are of poor qualilty - it's amazing I can pick them up at all given that my aerial is pointing to Waltham! I wondered whether it was time to get a new aerial and point it at Sandy Heath. Has anyone had success with this in the Crowland area??0

Are you saying that Channel 3 is now Anglia instead of Central?
I live in Spalding and the retune went OK, all channels replaced as they should be.
Someone I know in Whittlesey, tuned and pointing to Waltham, can also receive Sandy Heath Anglia perfectly, after the Sandy heath changes a few weeks ago. Apparently the transmitted power of Sandy was increased 8 fold which could account for your change.
If you would prefer Anglia to Central I doubt a new aerial is required, just turn it round.
If you can get a signal whilst pointing at Waltham I do not think you would need to be too accurate in your alignment.0
