With your usage you might be better off getting the T-Mobile SIM only deal via Chitter Chatter - They are offering the 30 day rolling contract for £6 per month [100 minutes, 100 text & 500MB] - Not sure when the offer ends though!:dance:Quidco Payments In 2011 - £724.21

I'm a faily light user, and £5 a month gets me 300 minutes and unlimited texts with a Vodafone contract (with Quidco cashback).
I looked at PAYG, but it's just so expensive that I'd undoubtedly exceed £5 on more months than not.0 -
I never used to use up all my minutes when I had a contract. I rarely text and only use my mobile if I have to. A £10 top-up can last over 2 months sometimes.0

Hi
I've always been PAYG because I'm not a heavy mobile user but just got a Smart phone on a contract. My current phone is being unreliable so I need a new phone. I reckon the contract which includes a free phone will work out much the same as a PAYG and with internet access.
Personally I wouldn't use a smart phone on PAYG because I suspect I'll get stung with using the internet too much.

I like pay and go as you are free to get out of any network without bounding contracts and don't get unexpected bills. i don't show on loyalty to any network whatsoever just the cheapest you can get. been around on many networks with my number asda, o2, orange, giffgaff but as soon as i find cheaper off i go. the new ofcom rulings make it easier now to leave get your pac from your current network and switch to the new one in 24 hours. currently i am on icardmobile for calls and texts dirt cheap. 1p landlines 5p mobiles. with data i use vectone sim just swap it with my main icard one and get the 1gb data for five pounds a month. i left gg due to the free internet they use to offer being removed and the unreliability of the data i had. not had one issue using vectone web at all in my area 3g on tmobile.0

My 24 month contract is up shorly so been looking for a better deal. Currently own an unlocked iPhone 4 and a light user but will use data when out and about. TMobile sim only PAYG for iPhone seems perfect with free 500mb data each month for 12 months. £5 for sim card when bought with £10 top up. I'll see how that goes and if I find I spend more than £10 a month I'll get a 30 day contract for £10 with Three.
I speak with friends via facebook and I've downloaded Viber for free texting to the OH with the family being ordered to also download it lol!! Currently spending £65 per month for two contracts so that should come down Lots!!0 -

I had a contract phone thru work on discount (Orange) with 2 lines when I was with NTL/VM,after them I went to BT as I could use my home hub to connect thru VOIP,but it was too expensive for the amount of calls I made.So I went back to P&G.I don't do text but most of the packages are geared to texters on O2.0
