Might try to get out in the garden today and do some weeding and stuff,as boys sorted the back garden so just the front to get in ship shape condition.
Have a residents meeting to go to later. We are planning a Royal Wedding garden party which involves 8 front gardens all facing each other. So just really have to make final plans and the food and drinks lists.Hopning it will be a good day.

Morning all!!!!! Just about.
My dh fixed my laptop yesterday so I can get back on MSE!!!!!! I have missed all you guys soooooooo much!! I could get on almost everything else except here. Weird or what?
Phew, I feel like I have come home....... nice and comfy.
Anyway, been wasting less time sitting on my butt, and doing more baking etc.
So far today I have cleaned up the kitchen, made choc muffins, scones ( bought some whoopsied clotted cream) and have a lasagne in the oven. Made turkey and mushroom pie and pasties yday and a quiche. Unfortunately my dh mate was round watching footie last night, and ate half the pie and quiche and took the rest home for his wife!!!!!! Don't mind really...... he brought biryani which will feed dh at work for a couple of days.
Started getting out in the garden. Lifted a load of new raspberry plants and had great pleasure giving them away on freecycle. Got some seeds planted. Just courgettes, beans, tomatoes in trays, and mixed lettuce in the garden.
Really have to get up to the allotment and get my a*se in gear and get weeding and digging.
Virtual hugs to you all, whether you want them or not..... missed you all too much.Father Ted: Now concentrate this time, Dougal. These
(he points to some plastic cows on the table) are very small; those (pointing at some cows out of the window) are far away...

On a brighter note I have booked for us to go to Carlyon Bay for 7 nights from Monday on recomendation of a friend. So I will get to see my Nan :T. This is the place http://www.carlyonbay.net/ though I don't know how many of the facilities will be open.
Hopefully little-un will be ok to go.
Have priced up gravel and bark for the garden today as well and the difference in prices is astonishing from £41 for a bulk bag to £179

Check Guntree and Freecycle for gravel/pebbles tigerfeet, I have seen on Gumtree over the last week, a lot of sand gravel and pebbles going for free if you have a shovel and a bag. It's what is inside your head that matters in life - not what's outside your window

Im going to speak to my boss and see if theres anyway of upping my hours to at least 16 a week its that or stopping work and i really dont wanna do that! I wanted a job with more hours but i took what was going at the time.

Evening All
Busy day for me for a holiday! Took DDs car for a service (no charge!) for 8, swimming at 9, haircut (summer shearing) at half 10, back for car at 12 and then a trip to Home Bargains for toiletries, etc. Dashed to the bank later as if I didn't pay 65p into my business account by tomorrow I would be charged. Stupid thing is that I will also be charged for paying in 65p! Paid in £1.30 to save them sending me a letter!
Apart from ususal DW and WM (drying inside) no OS unless you count DD and pal making a mess, I mean baking, as we speak. Something smells lovely so here's hoping. Pasta for tea, I am getting quite peckish.
HoneyBee, sorry you are being messed about, I was told that I couldn't claim for Tax Credits unless I worked 30 hours?
JackieO, glad you enjoyed your day out yesterday.
Hugs to anyone in need or want, take care. XX0 -
