I met my other half 16 years ago this year, he really is my other half, he completes me... and yes I know how soppy that sounds, but I love him to bits. One DD and 10 years of marriage, we might be older, fatter, balder, whatever, he still makes me laugh and can still make me yell ( ooh er missus, I'm blushing as I type that!) I really couldn't have met anyone better for me.

That's not to to say he's Mr Perfect, and nor am I Mrs Perfect, and we'd not be perfect for others either, but we're right for each other.:D

I met my OH four years ago at work, but we only got together a year ago. He is most definitely the love of my life. I've never been happier

Yes I am married to him. He is my best friend and soul mate. Its true that "Love isn't the person you can see yourself with, its the person you can't see yourself without"

Still waiting. I alternate between total cynicism about relationships and love to complete idealism. I guess neither are really true.

You can't be too idealistic - after all, you are human, and so is your partner - and just as you have faults, so will your partner. It's a case of overlooking some of them (trading them for yours, if you like :) ) and both of you working on t'others! In other words - give and take!
