    Plus could you give someone some help, what laptop/model is it too, I am starting to blue screen been up too long:o

    Ah, sorry, dcm, it's a Dell Inspiron 1525 and its OS is Vista. I didn't think. Just ask me whatever, you know I'm not too bright about these things, so some stuff just doesn't occur to me!

    closed: I used to have SuperAntiSpyware on it, but removed it whenever it was that you guys recommended I took it off.

    I wasn't doing anything exciting. All I ever do is t*t around on tinternet... so nothing tooo techie.

    I will attempt the chkdsk later on when I am back on the lappie.

    Hello

    I ran chkdsk in safe mode and it said 0 bad files. It ran through and then the black screen just shut off, so I guess there was nothing wrong?
