Help with HiJack log please

Hello

My laptop just blue screened on me a few times after about 15-20 minutes of use.

I was listening to the radio on the it and it started to make an odd noise as if the radio was stuck and then blue screened. It restarted too quickly for me to copy anything that was written on the screen.

I've done a registry check on CC Cleaner, but wondered if someone would take a look at my HiJack log please.

Without knowing what the blue screen said, it's impossible to diagnose remotely, but some suggestions to simplify your setup

If you haven't all ready done it, Install Malwarebytes and do a FULL (not quick) scan (after updating it), fix anything found before closing, otherwise you'll have to do it all over again. If anything was found reboot the machine before continuing. http://www.filehippo.com/download_malwarebytes_anti_malware/

If you know you have just been infected, with a fake antivirus for example, running system restore to a previous restore point is often the fastest way of getting your machine working again

Making any changes to a PC setup always comes with a slight risk of something going wrong, the worse case scenario is an unbootable PC - ideally you should have got a backup of important data on dvd or external disk, and a disk image backup (http://www.macrium.com/reflectfree.asp) or windows disc/factory restore partition available before you start. In the unlikely event that anything does go wrong, post on another pc for advice.

Install and run ccleaner (untick the google toolbar during the install). Untick the "windows log files" box, under the system heading before cleaning. http://www.piriform.com/ccleaner/download/slim

If you suspect an infection, here are some other virus scanners to try, let them fix anything found

Oddly enough, I seemed to related to listening to the radio on the laptop not a virus ??... it seemed as if the radio froze, made an odd noise and then blue screened.

Later on when I was doing some of things you told me to do, I didn't listen to the radio and there was no problem.

But this was probably a coincidence as surely listening to LBC shouldn't blue screen my laptop.

I have a question regarding uninstalling toolbars, I can't find them via Control Panel. If I went into the C drive where they are located, can I just delete them please?

I'm working my way through the list... staring at the laptop solving problems makes me head spin, so I do it bit by bit...

Someone else will definately know better than I, but it could be a corrupt sound driver somewhere?

Ah, ok... as the same thing happened again to me this morning. Listening to the radio and it went 'drrrrrrrrr' and blue screened.

You have Citrix Go2Assist lurking. Are you using a workplace computer, or have someone who remotely diagnoses problems for you?

Go to administrative tools>event viewer>windows>system there will be an event there with a red error sign which will hopefully tell you what the blue screen error details are. HTH

It might have been BT asking to remotely access my PC the other day. That was some GTA. I can definitely delete it if someone tells me know to.

Thanks... Argh... the time of this site is different to the time on my laptop, so I am unable to tell which error message is the exact blue screen.

The dependency service or group failed to start.'
