Nope , I may be wrong though (strange nope true yes) Ok look through the events it may me flagged as a Warning or even an Info , but it should say something like system recovered from Blue screen or some such like, sadly all I have with me now is my Phone so I can't check too well.(nor type too well), You will know when it last happened , look for the events around your last boot time.

What about this one please? I know the blue screen started with '0X00000050' and then 'OXDA87...' then I was too slow to copy the rest.

The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. The bugcheck was: 0x00000050 (0xd876c582, 0x00000008, 0xd876c582, 0x00000002). A dump was saved in: C:\Windows\MEMORY.DMP.

    Thanks

Hmmmm, I assume your lappy is a little old, have you checked it for dust, cigarette ash, cat fur (my favourite problem) . If your are getting regular BSODs with sound on then it is possibly overheating. Do you use it on a flat surface and not on the Lap,Bed, Carpet. Then wait for a Hardware man to have a look at this thread Hammy , Richie, Rik, Gunjack, QB Donnie(PPRd the one) anyone ....

It just started happening yesterday and with LBC. I've been listening to Magic all afternoon and it's been fine. LBC has a pop-up to listen, but not Magic... or maybe the laptop is sick of listening to people talking all the time:rotfl:.

I've had the laptop for maybe two or three years, but only recently started using it, ie when the other one packed up :(.

It's not too dusty, it might be over clean though, as OH says I have OCD about cleanliness. :).

    Thank you.

OK then when you next close it down , wait a while and then peer into the slots under / by side of it see if you can see dust not whilst working it. BTW you did not answer if you use it in/on bed/carpet/lap Is OCD a web site:D

No, I don't have superantispyware, closed.

DCM: I don't use it on the bed etc... :), it's flat on a table and I plug my keyboard and mouse into it.

ARGH: it's just blue screened again, no idea why!

    Got this in event view:
