im still waiting on a email as well, mines was applied for on the 6th - tried calling them but because it was a internet application they cant help me on the phone, so had to do a online form
im gonna give it to middle of next week and if i dont hear anything i'll go elsewhere
Thanks poppy. I was going to ring them to say cancel it so I'm grateful for the info. I might just fill in the form (presumably on their website) or maybe I need do nothing at all if they can't be bothered to open it.
Never again!0 -
I also filled out the online form to open the 3.3% flex. Cash ISA. Over 5 working days later I still haven't heard a thing from them. Tried to call them and ask about the progress of my application and got no where, I was told to go and fill in the online "track my application" form; this form isn't for an ISA but for a savings account, I filled it in anyway (promising to take my money elsewhere if they don't reply again). As said in a previous post, if I don't hear from them by Wednesday of next week I'll try another bank.Paying off the overdraft:

My wife's ISA is open and appears in her online banking but she never got an email, so I would not rely on getting an email to show the account is open0

Ordered my Loyalty ISA on Monday in branch in Ware, Herts quoting another santander account for the money to come from. As expected I have heard nothing - they better well back-date my ISA else I'll be a-complaining again...0

What do you mean you ordered it? Did you complete and application form and supply ID?0 -

Does your wife already have another account with Santander? My issue is that I don't, therefore I do have to rely on Santander to e-mail me or least notify me in some way to inform me that my ISA and online banking facilities have been opened- there is no other way of finding out! All other banks have at least sent me a confirmation e-mail/letter to acknowledge that I've applied for an account/service.Paying off the overdraft:

Yes she has previous accounts. I see your problem.0

As with matthew74, I can now confirm that mine has appeared on my online banking, was apparently credited with the opening balance on the 12th. As yet still haven't received an email, or any paperwork through the post, so doesn't help those who don't already hold accounts with them.0
