Sunday 17th here and that's early enough for me. Don't do the outside at all but I do have a tree in both downstairs rooms

DD's birthday is the 9th so we put ours up then. The deadline day at school is 1st December - and once the decs go up the kids seem to get into a state of high excitement!!0

We are doing ours tonight, hopefully
My sisters were up on the 6th of November, way too early IMO! This will be the earliest we have ever put ours up. One day I might be more organised...........

I think you're safe from ridicule from 1st Dec onwards. My Mum took Friday off work to do hers and their house is now like a very classy Santa's grotto! Ours will be going up this weekend and will come down as soon after Christmas as I can get away with - I absolutely love Christmas but, once the day itself is out of the way, I find looking at the tree quite depressing as it's all over for another year. I'll probably take them down on New Year's Day so I can get that lovely 'first day back at school' fresh feeling and get on with my resolutions!"Don't sacrifice what you want most for what you want now"
