When to Start Decorating?

Is it too early to start decorating my flat? I bought a really really beautiful wreath and some new decorations and I want to see them up!! NOW!

When do you all start hanging your decorations up?

we usually put ours up first wkend in december,but we are mad busy this wkend so wont be doing it until next sat or sunday now

I used to put ours up between 2-5 Dec (sons and late mams birthdays) but noticed the last few years they started to get on my nerves before the big day arrived so put them up around the 15th now - I could never put them up in November I'd be chomping at the bit to get them down If you want to put them up now then do it, it's no biggie

Mine are going up tomorrow night, so when we get up on the 1st December, its all ready!!!!

Mine will be going up the weekend after this one - usually do it first weekend in Dec too but not got time this weekend so will have to wait. Can make a much more fun celebration of it then as will have more time.

Thanks - I am going to get up early tomorrow and make a start - I can't wait - hot chocolate, christmas music and decorating!

I put mine up on 16th December every year - I know someone who only decorates one room and just leaves them up ..ALL YEAR !!!:eek: :rotfl:

I started mine today, unfortunately most of my decorations are at my mums so i won't be putting the main ones up till Friday, at the moment i'm taking a five minute break from decorating the dresser
