My children would happily have them put up in November but we have decided to put them up on 6th December each year as that is hubby's birthday. We are going to do the tree when our toddler is in bed so it will be a big surprise for her the next morning.

Unfortunately we had to go and buy a new tree this year because we moved last February and left the tree in the garage at the old house. This one is a bigger tree, so we will probably need more decorations for it - all so much expense!!! We don't have any other decorations, so I will get the children to help make some.
