Tesco/Asda Pricechecker Thread - part 4

Just a quicky - has anyone had any joy with dtd on the Tesco finest £10 meal deal? I noticed that the food is na, but the £7.49 D'asti red wine showed as £5 at asda. Result Two can dine for a fiver with wine? I got no dtd as I did a load of other shopping at the time. Still worth keeping an eye out on the wines they give wit hthe £10 meal deals (some wines in the deal are as much as £9.49). One for the wombles?

The biggest thing I will take from this is that NZ hand trimmed lamb or whatever it's called tastes flippin' lovely, especially when it costs zilch.
As do magnums, posh pizzas, beef joints, cornettos, bags of carrots, napolina tin tomatos and whatever else.

And I'm sure my clothes smell better when the fabric conditioner is given to me.

Seriously though, it does show it pays to shop around for everyday items - and not just between Tesco & Asda either.

Managed to use 3 vouchers in a large Mr T's today with no bother at all. Bought No 3 child an oral B disney princess toothbrush last week so now had to buy the other two their own, put through two shops back to back and young female SA didn't bat an eye. Then returned to use up an end of life £4 voucher on play sand and SA hadn't seen one but it scanned so she was ok.
Loads of DTD's out in force, checking out others conveyor belts and loads of vodka and gin then spotted vouchers coming out. I am not alone!

I had a good one at the start of the DTD promo with a finest meal deal. The wine was a 9.99 Prosecco which was about £7.50 is Asda so I had a great deal to begin with plus a £5 voucher back as everything but the wine was n/a :-)
