Eldon Square have been the easiest and friendliest for me. Gateshead are becoming increasingly difficult. I used my last uncapped one at Kingston Park the other day. Checked it with CS first and they were great.0 -

Soory if I am being a bit 'dippy' but do Mr T's accept the £5 off co-op vouchers that I can get from beforeibuy.com??
I am under the impression that they do from previous posts but not 100%??
TIA and well done to you all for all your hard work and contributions
I used mine in there on Thu. Women wasnt sure and then she found the co-op on the list and took the voucher.....:TSaving 2.00 coinsGrocerys set to 40.00 pwBeing Thrifty0 -

I asked if there was a problem, to which she replied we've been told not to accept these anymore as there's 'something going on' with them! 'Something going on', i replied 'what does that mean?'
She said i can't say too much, but we're not going to accept them anymore, we've been taking the signs down! I said but it says on the voucher it's valid until May 2011. When the supervisor arrived she took the voucher over to customer services and i was so scared that i nearly said i haven't got time for this, and was going to abandon my shopping and the voucher, but i braved it out!
When the supervisor returned she said we'll accept it this time, but we're not going to accept them anymore as it's ridiculous. She then went on to ask how i only spent £20ish and i got a £20 voucher back. I said because if i'd have done the shop in Asda it would have only cost £10 therefore Tesco's have doubled the difference! By this time there was a queue behind me and they were all staring at me and i wanted the ground to open up!
I don't know if there's any truth in it, but if i'm gonna be interrogated from now on i don't think my nerves can take itI'm just glad that she didn't ask my email address
Oh, I am sorry to hear about it. I did tell the same once to a supervisor when she was scrutinising my receipt for a couple of minutes and asking how come I bought only 4 items and got £20 DTD voucher (I was glad she hasn't seen my 2 sun lotions receipt). I bought 2 racks of lamb, carrots and parsnips. You should have seen her face! She ticked all numbers and crossed & signed my receipt. Also she told me that that promotion is going to be stopped (alert - Tescoism). I just smiled and left. That was store in Whiteley village.

I know i dont know if you will be able to see this but its whats left of the house
That's awful. I have friends in NC, is this where this photo is from? I've not heard from her today. I know she has suffered from a tornado in the past. I hope your family have somewhere to stay...people don't realise the impact of this. No electric, no water...finding somewhere to stay...pets...children...
I truly hope your family are alright...0 -

i had my first issue today, the store i wnet to said they'd been told not to accept any, however my mil used hers 2 tills down, i then asked to speack to the manager who said (his words not mine) theres no point standing her argueing with me because i won't back down and let you use it:mad: he said head office had told them not to take any at all, however i stopped in another store on the way home went straight to customer services and explained what had just happened and she said yeah loads of people had complained about that store not taking any vouchers and she said i could use it no problem i just used it on a normal shop and i'm gonna use the rest on a normal shop aswell then go back to my normal shopping this is far too much work and far to stressful for me to keep at it
i had fired an email off to cs tho because i was definaly singled out and basicially accused of having a fake voucherDEC GC £463.67/£450
