Had my first bad experience today! I did my shop and gave the voucher to the cashier, who immediately pressed her button for a supervisor. I asked if there was a problem, to which she replied we've been told not to accept these anymore as there's 'something going on' with them! 'Something going on', i replied 'what does that mean?'
She said i can't say too much, but we're not going to accept them anymore, we've been taking the signs down! I said but it says on the voucher it's valid until May 2011. When the supervisor arrived she took the voucher over to customer services and i was so scared that i nearly said i haven't got time for this, and was going to abandon my shopping and the voucher, but i braved it out!
When the supervisor returned she said we'll accept it this time, but we're not going to accept them anymore as it's ridiculous. She then went on to ask how i only spent £20ish and i got a £20 voucher back. I said because if i'd have done the shop in Asda it would have only cost £10 therefore Tesco's have doubled the difference! By this time there was a queue behind me and they were all staring at me and i wanted the ground to open up!
I don't know if there's any truth in it, but if i'm gonna be interrogated from now on i don't think my nerves can take itI'm just glad that she didn't ask my email address

Hi Guys,
Noticed yesterday that
T2 CHCKN BRSTWRAP IN BACONWITH CHEESE 330G - have dropped in price to 2.78
SS UPDATE
T2 CHCKN BRSTWRAP IN BACONWITH CHEESE 330G - have dropped in price to 2.78
so negligable DTD now.
Everything else on the shelf was £3.50, round numbers so clearly dropped for a reason!

The Self-scan tills seem to be like everything else with this offer. The rules vary from store to store. I have used several vouchers of up to £20 on the SS tills without problem. The SA has to check the vouchers and input codes but it's never caused hassle.
Same here. When DTD vouchers were capped & I was still learning about DTD tactics & maneuvering, I accidentally went to SS with my £20 DTD voucher and a young male SA came to my rescue by inputting £9 off, £9 off then £2 off. Now I only go to SS with under £10 voucher on Saturdays when it's very busy.

Soory if I am being a bit 'dippy' but do Mr T's accept the £5 off co-op vouchers that I can get from beforeibuy.com??
I am under the impression that they do from previous posts but not 100%??
TIA and well done to you all for all your hard work and contributions :beer:0 -
