Just did my first 'official' DTD shop haha. Just a couple of things to mention:

    1. For me the roast potatoes scanned at £2.00 so the person who got them for £2.50 maybe that was a store specific fluke?
    2. The muller 4 for £2 promotion applies to ALL 'muller singles' so i got caught out very slightly then. As i got two corners and two muller lights and thought it wouldn't apply but it did and took off 0.44p. Might be good to indicate this on the SS. :) (though i think you do still get some DTD as they are only 25p in Asda? Will see for sure when voucher comes back.)

Other than that thanks so much everyone for your input in this thread and especially those working on the SS, it really is a fantastic help, especially when you are as generally un-organised as I tend to be ;)!

I think Muller Corners applies to ALL the different types of that name and it does say to buy ONLY 3

Hi, the alin1 dishwasher lemon 56s does it have to be the ones with the £2 coupon in the box or does it not matter?

    Hi

Original ones don't have £2 coupon inside. I bought 3 lemon d-tablets and all of them have the coupons inside (it's a top bit when you open so be careful).

    Hi!

Long time lurker first time poster in this thread. Thanks are coming your way but there is no way I can thank every post!

Had a horrific experience in Tesco Bromley by Bow today, tried using a voucher and receipt but was told I couldn't as the numbers don't match. The problem is that the time is in 24 hour on the receipt and in 12 hr on the voucher, and the penultimate set of numbers is 3 digits on the voucher and 4 digits on the receipt. So they refused to accept it!

The store manager is allegedly calling me tomorrow but in the meantime I have sent an email to customer services. If Tesco want to send out vouchers where the numbers don't match the receipt, that's their problem not mine!

Grr. So angry. But bought the wine anyway cos it's going up tomorrow and I can get another voucher!

I bought two of these for £18.98 and noticed on the receipt it recorded them as 'red wine' rather than 'wolfblass yellow label' as previous ones had been. I took them back to customer services and asked for a refund, when she asked why I told them had checked online and they were reducing them to £5 tomorrow and would come back and by 4 bottles then for the same price. She looked at me, gave me a knowing a smile and refunded me. I wouldnt be suprised to see snyone buying these today coming up N/A

This always happens - many many things come up as short unspecific descriptions but work fine. You really didn't need to return them
  • Just got back from my local T's and did my shopping, went to tills to pay and was using a £20.00 voucher against any bargains I could find. So she tells me the total and I gave her my voucher and she looked and said "Ohhhh you used a coupon last time, I'll have to go and check. So off she goes and when she came back she said I could not use it as I'd already had a coupon on my receipt. Soo I said "it does not say anywhere in your T's and C's that I can't use it! So she said "Well the store manager says from now on we will only take coupons if there isn't one already on the receipt as people keep buying and using it and it's not in the spirit of DTD and that when you use a coupon we have to keep the new receipt as well so that you can't enter that one. Soo I said soo I am supposed to walk out with no proof of purchase?? To which she answered " Well that's what we've been told" So I paid cash and seeing as it's the only T's for miles and I've not abused the £100 limit I feel really annoyed and angry! She gave me back my voucher and scrawled all over the receipt.

I'd ring customer services for that tomorrow. Aside from anything to do with the DTD, they can't expect you to leave with no proof of purchase. Imagine if the security guard decided to do a spot check? Or if anything needed to be returned, as we've already seen someone talking about a finest pizza with mouldy tomatoes.

"unable to find your receipt details" and "Over the £100 limit"
    PROBLEM SOLVED

I accidentally went over the £100 limit because I used my email address for Aunty Mildred’s shopping (silly me). I re-entered the receipt details with Aunty Mildred’s email address and it did not work.

    Then I had an idea.

I entered Aunty Mildred’s email address but when I entered the receipt details I changed the time by 1 minute. I am happy to say I have now received Aunty Mildred’s voucher for £20.00!!!

I tried this again with an 'unable to find your receipt details' receipt and it worked for that too.

Hope this helps some of the people from the end of March when they too accidentally entered their Aunty Mildred’s shopping under the wrong email address.

you do realise this could cause no end of problems.. the SA can easy see the difference and so could then get someone to check it out and find out its wrong..

    How awful for you.

The store is totally wrong. You are entitled to use the voucher in the way you wanted. You need to complain to head office asap.

By the way, they do not need to keep your receipt, its not in the terms and conditions, they are just trying to be obstructive. A shop assistant tried that with me, it did not work, I kept my receipt.

You are entitled to the receipt from your shop despite what that sa told you.:(:(:(:(:(
