Just did my first 'official' DTD shop haha. Just a couple of things to mention:

    1. For me the roast potatoes scanned at £2.00 so the person who got them for £2.50 maybe that was a store specific fluke?
    2. The muller 4 for £2 promotion applies to ALL 'muller singles' so i got caught out very slightly then. As i got two corners and two muller lights and thought it wouldn't apply but it did and took off 0.44p. Might be good to indicate this on the SS. :) (though i think you do still get some DTD as they are only 25p in Asda? Will see for sure when voucher comes back.)

Other than that thanks so much everyone for your input in this thread and especially those working on the SS, it really is a fantastic help, especially when you are as generally un-organised as I tend to be ;)!
  • Purchased 15/4/11 Confirmed today 17/4/11:

    Cadbury Dairy Milk Treasure Egg 142G £2 / £1
    Lake District Mature Cheddar 400G £3.89 / £2
    Pantene Colour Protect Vol S/Poo 500ML £3.77 / £1.75
    Pantene Colour Protect Vol Cond 400ml £3.77 / £1.75
    2 x Cornetto Enigma Chocolate 4 pack 360ml £5 / £2

    £18.43 / £8.50 = voucher for £19.86

So yes definately get the Pantene Colour Protect Volume variety, and not the Smooth.

Had to do the back and forth thing to get the voucher (got no email), as it said processing the first time. Big thank you to the person who advised us to do that. :T

Many thanks to all who are involved with the SS and contributing to the thread. :T:beer:

    confirm
please change the spreadsheet for the lake district cheese
must buy 400g at 3.89 people are only getting n/a as there is another slightly different weight just under 400g and just 1p less at 3.88, so must make sure 400g and 3.89 to get dtd back

Also only buy 1...as I got two and went through 2 for £5.
The two cheeses are also a different colour, buy the red packaging not the purple.
The difference is purple = extra mature 370g £3.88
red = mature 400g £3.89- this is the one you want.

  • Just got back from my local T's and did my shopping, went to tills to pay and was using a £20.00 voucher against any bargains I could find. So she tells me the total and I gave her my voucher and she looked and said "Ohhhh you used a coupon last time, I'll have to go and check. So off she goes and when she came back she said I could not use it as I'd already had a coupon on my receipt. Soo I said "it does not say anywhere in your T's and C's that I can't use it! So she said "Well the store manager says from now on we will only take coupons if there isn't one already on the receipt as people keep buying and using it and it's not in the spirit of DTD and that when you use a coupon we have to keep the new receipt as well so that you can't enter that one. Soo I said soo I am supposed to walk out with no proof of purchase?? To which she answered " Well that's what we've been told" So I paid cash and seeing as it's the only T's for miles and I've not abused the £100 limit I feel really annoyed and angry! She gave me back my voucher and scrawled all over the receipt.

They still don't seem to have cleared the backlog of missing vouchers from earlier this week.

I put 3 new ones in yesterday and one come back today, so no rhyme nor reason to it as far as I can tell. My earliest one I'm still waiting for is from 13/4.

Has anyone ever had any never come back?
