Really do not know! There is no reason whatsoever for them to be incapable of cross checking prices instantly!
They make it out like they have manual labourers going through each and every receipt "asdaing" (the alternate to "googling") the items.
The only thing I can think of is to stop people mega exploiting this by bringing a laptop and printer along in the car and as soon as a shop is finished printing the voucher out and going to do another!!
I reckon some of us would be living in Mr T's carpark then (myself being one) :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:0 -
I shopped at 3.45pm on thursday and input the receipt from that around 4.30pm so I don't think its that - although TBH that shop was at a Ts I've never been to before so its possible that I was unlucky and that was 1 where receipts turn around slowly or get lost
I had also been to a different store on Thursday... had used it once before and the voucher came in next day but I have had so many problems in the past with that store (R&R, instore DTD etc) that I wouldn't be in the least bit surprised if my lack of timely vouchers are somehow influenced by the store :mad:If a post is helpful to you, please take a second to click "thanks", it makes us feel all warm and fuzzy inside!0 -
