Here is a meal idea for the thrifty one of us:
I got a big piece of (free) roast beef on Thursday. I wasn't sure what to make for dinner tonight- we had way to many Fray Bentos pies and sausages recently. So I cut a big slice off the roast beef, cut it up to small bits and made chilli beef with rice!!! We still have plenty of beef left to make roast beef tomorrow with (free) roast potatoes ...."NOTHING TASTES AS GOOD AS FREE FOOD"

Bit of a daft question but does anyone know if the DTD vouchers can be used in Tesco Home Plus stores?0

Just out of curiousity who's checking to see if their vouchers are here? or are we all just waiting for some to put up the big red letters?:rotfl:And they could be in!!!!
I’m checking for vouchers, in between spurts of cleaning!
DTD has taken over my life. Flat is a tip, living on Pot Noodles, lamb and Cornettos. All I’m doing is checking prices, lurking around various Tesco stores, trying to squeeze it all under the bed etc. But it’s taken my mind off office politics and a possible redundancy looming. So it's all good.
I don’t mind the voucher’s not turning up today, I’m still in my jimjams so now I can open the wine and chill out. Will just do an extra basket tomorrow hopefully!
The camaraderie on this thread has been amazing. I’m so grateful to everyone who’s PMd me with advice and I hope that I can do the same back to the thread.
As usual, many thanks to the SS editors. Wish I could send you all a bottle of wine. Wolf Blass, of course!
