That's great, but do you think it would be better to have fewer children and be able to treat them with the better things in life more regularly?
Even if the twins hadn't been twins, she was still headed for 5 kids, which itself represents a huge cost and demands a very healthy household income to support them properly, 7 is demanding in the extreme.
Does your friend work?
I kind of agree, there are loads of people in my village who just breed and breed and dont work, then moan they are skint, whilst duffaged once again. Erm hello, stop reproducing! I understand what it's like to long for a baby, but it is selfish to just keep having babies without taking into account wether or not you can afford it. I know aslong as the children are loved thats all that should matter. But many of the families I am referring to, never go on holiday, always wear hand me downs, dont get much at christmas etc.
Having said that, I am aware that for some people, this is not the case. Some families start out well off, then due to un forseen sircumstances, find themselves at rock bottom, which is unfortunate. Also alot of people dont realise just how expensive children are. Also most couples may never be in a financial position to have children, but the longing for a child is so intense. But I think some people need to know where to draw the line as to 'how many times they give in to their longing'.0 -

yarmouthgirls it is not always the answer to retaliate with rudeness though. If you find a post offensive use the report button....that's what it's there for.
You only make yourself look as bad as the person insulting you. Trust me, best to ignore it!0 -

I honestly cant see a age thing on the tc's
my son is 13yrs and would be able to go and buy cleaning stuff anyway so cant see a problem myself but just wanted to check before we go
thanks
I can't see there would be a problem - there is no rule saying that children cant shop at Tesco's (or is there?!?!?)0 -
Ouch, seriously, too far! Seeing as "farming family" was mentioned I would say they work very hard!
Please can we all chill? :grouphug::grouphug::grouphug::grouphug::grouphug::grouphug::grouphug::grouphug::grouphug::grouphug:
You're right, perhaps it's time for everybody to chill. I disagree with the "too far" bit, but understand what you mean, this isn't the type of conversation for this thread.
This is simply an extension to what I was saying earlier though, with regards to people's attitudes to each other and in society and reflective in their attitudes towards this promo.0 -
a couple of weeks ago, i used to love this thread.
sadly, this is no longer the case.
the amount of bickering, arguing etc. is just getting too much.
i remember posting quite often on the 1st and 2nd thread; answering people's questions/queries etc. but with so many posts now, it is becoming impossible to keep up with this thread.
