Can I make a wee suggestion - if you want to argue do it on private via pm - if you are unhappy with comments made then report them. This is getting rather silly!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Can people please think for a minute and stop arguing. Arguments will get the MSE mods involved and if it is bad enough, the thread will be closed and then none of us will benefit anymore.

Good getting the kids involved isnt it lol.
I am going shopping with my 16 year old today, she does a basket whilst I do the other basket. She did it last week too and the SA did a bit of huff and puff but still took the voucher OK.
My 11 year old has just discovered wombling, she got her first receipt yesterday, told her she could keep what she gets and now she cant wait to go again.

Sorry though, dont know the answer to your question, would like to know this too so I can get my 11 year old to do a basket.
Please God, help me stop spending!

Hi i have had 6 children, sadly only have 5 now no sets of twins and disagree with this , I sadly now am a single mum but when i had my boys we were a stable family , we were not on benefits part from tax credits , and before they came out only what everybody else was on, we have never had housing even when my oh walked out i used my own tax credits to pay my rent.
it is a huge cost but my boys understand that they cant have everything and get what are given, they are not spiolt and appreciate things

Sorry to hear you only have 5 now.

I am not making any judgements on people here, simply saying that I find having children, is as much a financial decision, as anything else, if not more so than anything else. I have 2 and I simply could not afford to support any more and give them the things in life, that I think they deserve. Hence, I have not had any more and use good planning, to ensure that we do not have more.

Surely it is good family planning to keep your offspring to a level, to which you are financially able to meet their demands?
  • Why don't we all take bets for when the vouchers will arrive? My guess is 4pm.
Anyone else want to play? :)
