we were originally doing one shop each at a time, and going in again (just twice, so four shops) then one day matt said he would try two in one go. SA called the supervisor over to ask it was ok, and she said, yes its one per transaction. So when the day does come that they realise the 'true' t&c's' and try telling us off, all we will say is 'oh, we were told by a supervisor that is was ok, sorry' and just accept it. But until then... :D

Thats lucky.. to achieve the same 'performance' i (myself as my OH wont do it) have to do the following

    Morning shop at 3 stores
    Evening shop at 3 stores
One extra shop in local town (have to pay to park half and hour and dash in for goods)

Takes a good 2-3 hours. Altho most days i do 3 shops a day just 1 per store.

I got three big tote crates in garage. I think in terms of individual dishwasher tablets i've got 1,400 :P along with enough alchohol to through a wedding party lol.

I wont go in twice to a store as i have been collared and wrongly accused already by one of the blue coated managers. I just stick to making it reasonably fair.. i dont see why i cant viist on my way to work and visit on way home for instance.

I suspect the "backside tearers" will have achieved short term profit and a guarantee that Tesco won't be doing generous promotions in the future. Short term profit , long term loss <shrug>

Tesco didn't do this out of the goodness of their heart. They were forced into it, by ASDA. They are not the cheapest and wanted a promo to try and convince others that they are. It has backfired on them. ;)

How is 8 a month exceeding t's and c's? He didn't say £20 each time

Plus, I said 2 a week at most and I have only been onto this DTD thing for a fortnight.

no one has the right to call us greedy so get a life if you think we are greedy then you must have loads of money and as such dont need to be doing this at all

You've completely misunderstood me :) I said I was making the most of the promo - simply because I don't have any money. And I didn't call you greedy - I merely said different people have different views and are entitled to them and that includes both you and reevetard. :)

I did wonder if Asda were cottoning on to this and started strategically moving prices to hit Tesco (if they want to play hardball, then I am sure that no one on here will try stopping them!).

Does anyone know if the pancake mixes can used for Yorkshire Puddings?

No good for yorkshire puddings the pancake mix has sugar in someone on here posted that they had tried it and it was vile lol

I haven't tried one of mine yet but the batter for yorkshire pudding has to be thicker than for pancakes - like double cream, so you could add a bit more plain flour or less water to try it.

true but it would be very silly to do less. and i believe its a valid assumption that all of us are running near 20 pound vouchers (if we have hang of it) as that maximises each trip.

Also noticed Chateauneuf Du Pape Grande Reserve (75cl) rolled back from £14.46 to £8 - I wonder if this matches a Tesco equivalent as they have a couple at £14+.

I have been wondering about these for a while. It's potentially an expensive risk to take though! It definitely doesn't compare on mysupermarket...
