the post about 7 shops in 30 mins (3.5 per person as it was two people) just goes to show no matter how many shops you do or how moral you think you are,... if any of us goes above the 100 pound per month limit (which we all do as everyone waits for vouchers every day... meaning they recycle at least once a day) then you cant whinge or complain.

It shows that no matter what you do someone else will try and do more.. just fill your boots and be selfish as trying to control the masses wont get you anywhere.

Altho to the person doing 7 shops in 30 mins my store have recognised me for going in two times a day.. so i suspect if you continue they would pick up oin it eventually and have some strong words lol :P. Depends how easy going the managers are cause with 7 shops in 30 mins you are i would guess going against the spirit of the scheme.

There appears to be a bit of a divide between the ruthless, who, as you say, are tearing the backside out of the promotion and those like me, who do a couple a week and see it as a bonus to the normal shop.

I do not wish to enter the wider philosophical debate on life, but this Tesco's promo is representative of more than just this offer. It is a gauge of society, the individuals that make it up and attitudes to life and one another.........those that adopt a stance in this offer, are likely to adopt the same standing in many other facets of life and for me, lends information on the sort of individual i'm dealing with.

Anyway, I shall not comment further and like I said, everybody sets their own stance and if they are happy with their choices, then it is only right, that I am happy for them.

I understand what your saying but i bet you can afford to shop in tescos every week, not even worry whats in your trolly....well most of us on here live to our means and we have to watch what we buy cheaper cuts of meat,no goodies for our kids no pop cheap washing powder 23p shampoo the list goes on,so for me and a lot of others here this has been a godsend that just once we can have the better quality things for a while so im sorry to say im really milking it for what it is and im not sorry for that.LONG LIVE DTDING.
    IM A DTDER ADDICT

My friend with 7 kids is ecstatic that she can give them a Magnum as a treat as she would never, ever be able to have them in her freezer ordinarily. Along with all the other goodies she has been able to supply them with this school holiday. She is now trying to plan ahead with Christmas in mind for stocking fillers.

Yarmouthgirls and Londonium - are you comments really necessary? You may not agree with reevetard, but he/she is entitled to his views as much as you - just because they're different, doesn't make them boring compared to yours.

I agree with his/her well-written post - to a point. I've been making the most of the promo for myself and my family, trying to stock up on what I need. Others do it differently and that's down to them. As Reevetard says "everybody sets their own stance and if they are happy with their choices, then it is only right, that I am happy for them" No need to attack anyone here - and it works both ways! :)

A big thanks also to the updaters of the spreadsheet!!! :)

Does anyone know if there is a size restriction with the pork? Im not too sure whether to buy a large or small bit, and the spreadsheet doesnt specify.

I'm not sure sorry. The shelf edge does say large, even though the joint looks rather small. I don't think it said large on the packet though.

While they did in a day what you do in a month... its is still obvious that if you do 2 a week you do 8 a month.. which mean you are also exceeding the terms and conditions and therefore are also breaing them.

Its just the amount over thats in question here.. you are both abusers we are all abusers... Just get over it and live with it.

Consideradly tastier than english or scottish sausages i can tell you that :). There meat has alot of extra herbs and spices added to it.. a bit like frankfurters wouldn't buy anything else as our food is usually quite bland ;P

I will give these sausages a whirle

But that is not the case and I am typical of the 'middle ground'. I visit tescos almost every day (different stores if I can) and only ever use 1 voucher per store. I make hay with the bits that give me DTD and I throw in a few things I usually shop for.

I have not made a fortune yet I am not neglecting the promotion. I say 'thank you' to tescos and :T to all those responsible for the SS, not to mention a  for all those who keep us updated on these threads of change of pricing.

Each to their own on how they play the game but I've never had the money to have overflowing cupboards before and I'm loving it!

we were originally doing one shop each at a time, and going in again (just twice, so four shops) then one day matt said he would try two in one go. SA called the supervisor over to ask it was ok, and she said, yes its one per transaction. So when the day does come that they realise the 'true' t&c's' and try telling us off, all we will say is 'oh, we were told by a supervisor that is was ok, sorry' and just accept it. But until then... :D
